In summation, there are 20 worlds in Smash Bros. So far, we've seen every world save for W13, and W19. In addition, the names are in alphabetical order. Which would mean that the next series would fall somewhere between M and S.
The candidates: NiGHTS, Pikmin, Pac-man, Punch-Out, and Rockman.

Coincidence: Kindrik just linked me to that Destructoid article a few minutes ago, when I ahd already read a post about it on WiiChat several weeks ago.
I think its an interesting theory, I'd say the best chance is definitely Rockman (a.k.a Megaman for those playing at home)

Nights does get dicked out of the stipulation. Even if he's getting a major Nintendo release in the future, it hasn't actually happened yet so I'm not so sure of his chances.
As much as I'd love to see a Belmont, Konami already has Snake in the game.

Pikmin would make for an interesting character... But really, Olimar is TINY. So are the Pikmin. You'd have to do some major stretching to make him the same size as his opponents!

I would have said Olimar and Pikmin before we knew what we did. But with the addition of AT's, Pikmin seems more suited for them, a swarm of Pikmin being unleashed on the stage.
Megaman, yes. Belmont, would be nice but Konami already have the superior Snake in (as you mentioned. NiGHTS is a Sega creation, right? Well. They already have Sonic in there.

Yeah, it would most likely be a MM instead of niGHTs... if NiGhts did appear it would be a cameo of AT.

There's another video that shows a somewhat better view of Fox's alt. "Wolf" costume. But still nothing official. I mean Mario still has Wario's colours... Wario deconfirmed? Lol.

Wario FTL. cant wait to beat the crap out of him. and as for tht theory, its nothing new, theres a You Tube Vid of it. i'm hoping 19 is Mega Man as well, and i'm guessing it will be. you also have to consider there could be series/characters past 20.

I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned it before, but I've been entertaining the possiblity that w19 could just as easily be Nazo no Murasame Joh (Mystery of Castle Murasame), though it's unlikely. I'd love to play as Nintendo's original badass samurai, Takamaru.

WarioWare games aren't serious, so he reflects that. As for only being in for story I doubt. Wario is probably one of the characters that was considered from the start of SSB. Now has his own franchise of games, so he's set apart from Mario.

That would be an awesome choice for the new retro character. I can't think of another an even better choice than that.

Sounds reasonable enough to me. I assumed there would be all kinds of characters in Brawl, and so far I've been pleasantly surprised with the selection. I just think it'd be nice to have a wider selection.
