i think Paper Mario, Rayman and Shadow make it to Brawl. Oh and the 3 rumour characters too.
Sonic already has a Shadow costume so he's not appearing in the game. Ubisoft contribution a character is doubtful. Chances are the third 3rd party character will be MegaMan. Paper Mario probably not. That rumor had no actual support behind it, so it's unlikely it'll happen.

Mr. G&W won't be replaced by anyone, he's so unique why get rid of him, especially for paper mario.
Don't be so sure of GaW's return. Whilst we think it might be obvious for him to come back we can't say for sure. Sakurai could do something stupid and drop him, because you know Sakurai is all about doing stupid things.
Now I disagree with that point. Mr GaW may be an old character, but so are both the Ice Climbers and Pit. They are in Brawl.

and he's so old character. And Paper Mario has his new game: Super Paper Mario. And they are making Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 so... good enough for Sakurai to add that rabid or Rayman. But Rayman is old too so it would be Rayman. A lot of thinking... And it's a bad vid but... i think i saw a black sonic yeah!

Dropping GaW wouldn't be stupid. Sure he's a fun character, but I wouldn't miss him. Having said that he'll no doubt return.
