Post all character suggestions, and hell if your smart enough put up a moveset as well. So who do you think would be good in this game? Why should they be in here? Discuss, debate, constructively criticise.
My first suggested character, Ridley. Why? Well honestly, look at him... Bowser is likely to be in there so why shouldn't the Metroid villain join him. That'd make the three main series have their heroes and villains in there. I'm going to make a movelist for him when I wake up but I'm too drowsy to make it now.

FF characters from the games VII+ have no hope. Sony essentially has them under their control. But there are chances for maybe characters from the first six games... the classics. But I dunno, FF doesn't seem like it'd go well with SSBB... then again I would have thought about FE the same way.
But best hope for FF is from games I-VI.
I wouldnt mind Locke, Cecil, Firion (however you spell it) , Sabin, Setzer ;P

Sonic has a pretty damn good chance (sadly
again with my Sonic hating), Knuckles I'm not sure about... I don't see him having a place in SSBB above Tails and I doubt Tails will get in. Nights I don't know much about but Bomberman has an ace good chance of appearing as well since he has been on so many Nintendo consoles.

I would love to see Paper Mario replace G&W he has a chance for a really interesting moveset. I can see his paper plane mode being a recovery similar to Peach's umbrella. He could have his hammer... could utilise some of his friends from hte Paper Mario games... actually I now LOVE that idea, especially with Super Paper Mario coming close.
Another favourite idea there is Cecil, he owns and I would love to see him appear in SSBB... one of the cooler classic FF heroes IMO.
