When are you gonna go buy the Wii?
trying to find an average for when people will buy the wii

I'm going to Walmart 6 hours before midnight to get a Wii

im going to costco about 4-5 hours early. my friend and i are bringing IPODS and are gonna just chill till Wii comes out. then i have to run to eb games to pick up my pre-ordered Zelda TP. then i run home, and because im so tired, i just plug the wii in, play forever, then eventually faint from too much video games.
edit: i just checked and saw that costco is opening at 10am on Sunday, so i do get to sleep!
I'm getting mine in December so I really only have to wait longer.
my problem is that I'm gonna be waiting at walmart for 6 hours with my mom and I can't have my friend go with me cause he preordered at Gamestop... so either my mom gets tired of waiting and drives me home or I get hella bored and decide to go home, maybe she could go buy stuff at walmart or sumthing, or maybe I need to revise my plans.... hopefully they'll give out number, but if u have a number, can u leave and come back later?

I'm sleeping in then going in the afternoon to pick up my pre-order... that or changing it to a lay-by... depending on my financial situation.
My Walmart stays open 24/7, so there's no point in saying "before the store opens".
Anyway, I'm going about 4-5 hours before it opens. I should be one of the first few there, so I think I'll be able to get one.
Lol lucky you, I doubt any stores will put themselves out all night or even at midnight for the Wii. Sure it'll be popular but not THAT popular in my town, Australia generally isn't a Nintendo friendly place anymore... which stinks.
i say 3-2 hours, but thats just because i have got mine for sure, my eb didnt take more preorders then they were getting, im just waiting in line with some friends for fun (and just to be safe)
I am going to stroll down to my gamestop about 10 min before they open at midnight to pick up my preorder, then drive back to my house as fast as i can !! Luckly gamestop is less than a 1/2 mile away. YAY!!!

ya my walmart is open 24/7 too and I'll be in line for 6 hours
if u get there when the store opens, u either won't get one or will have to wait many hours for the line to let up
I'm gonna ask them if they are going to give out numbers at walmart so if I get a number I'll be able to go home and come back when they tell me to

6 hours is reasonable, plus most of the children wishing for a system cant stay up that late. LOL
I think i'm gonna get to sam's club pretty early like an hour before they open (like 10:00am)
You need a membership to shop there and not many ppl go there so i feel that it will be a good bet to get one there.
I may not if i dont get one ill get one there like the next week
