yea it makes no sense....no point in buyin the 500 ps3. But yea this would never happen. It would be the end of sony's home console market.

I have enjoyed many Sony products in my day, but one has to admit they've had many bombshells.??The problem isn't that they've had these failed products, it's that they never know when to stop supporting them and move on.??They always wanna lead the pack, but so often seem to be left in the dust. IE:

mini disc
memory stick

so when people make rumor that Sony will do something odd like making the resale of their PS3 games illegal...i have to chuckle a bit, and then come back to reality and think...they just might.

I thought Sony already shot this rumor down? Now, I don't have any source with which to bolster this, but I was pretty sure that they wouldn't be going through with it.

If this does happen its just going to push away more and more average gamers.It might push away hardcore gamers!

Im mainly a Nintendo Fan but i have played the PS2 but i just play the games my bro buys because i concentrate on Nintendo Gamecube and DS lite while he buys PSP and PS2.I usually play the metal gear series on the PS2.But i dont really care if Sony does this because i dont ever rent or borrow games from anybody.I can see why everybody else would like the PS3 to go down in flames....and i dont really care if sony kicks the bucket.

yea my bro's gonna get PS3 and I'm excited to get both...
