I'm hope fully going to get a Wii on the 19, I have no pre-order
, and I have enough money for one game. I loved Zelda: A link to the past but have never relly liked any of the 3D translations of the series. I have heard lots of good things about Twilight Princess and am conflicted about buying it as my first game. Should I get Twilight Princess or Red Steel?
i dont know if you'll be able to get zelda TP if u havent preordered it because almost every single person buying the wii is getting that game at launch too. personally, i would still try to get zelda TP. i already have a preorder though
That's a good point, It would make things a lot simpler.
Almost everyone will be getting Zelda. To be honest with you, I have only ever played one zelda game in my life, and that was the legend of zelda on the NES, and although i never did finish it, I liked it. Now that the Wii is coming up, and researching about TP, I think it will be awesome, and addictive, and an easy way to waste time
Right now Red Steel is a little iffy, some like it, some don't...I'd wait on it to see the reviews before making your final decision...

I think it really depends on what you're more into, personally I'm getting both, but I think I'd get TP over Red Steel.
Then I suppose the question is will Twilight Princess be like the Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask?
Early on, people are saying just as good to even better han Ocarina of Time...it is definitely longer...

I don't think that's exaggerated, I'm pretty sure I've read 70+ in more than one place.
ya, i heard it took the testers that long to beat the game on their first go around. and that's WITHOUT the extra quests and stuff

No this is true, and doesn't even really count all the side-quests and all that jazz. I'm predicting 90+ hours for the average game

I'd try to get LoZ first, but you know if first person shooters are your thing then get Red Steel, what ever floats your boat!

and IMO I like Twilight Princess better since I know a lot about it more than I know about Red Steel.
