Oh, there are quite a number of us. Although the boys still outnumber us, we're catching up. It's just that a lot of the girl gamers don't advertise it, by joining forums and such. A good number of my female friends play, but aren't that into the internet, so they play and then they study (our pre-med portion of school is hard).

I think the boys will ALWAYS outnumber us in the gaming world. Hopefully we'll see an explosion of girl gamers in the next few months thanks to the Wii's accessibility. ^^

I did start that Godly thread.

And we try our best to be a friendly community... although that cyberfreakct38 that was posting for is an example of how to make me angry, haha.

And we will eventually catch up to the guys ^^ I think they've reached their limit, and their numbers may begin to level out, but the girls will still continue to start joining the gaming community. It'll work itself out in a few years. Maybe 20, but it'll happen eventually.

And linkszelda, I'm hoping the Revolution happens before 20 years! Gaming could be totally obsolete by then.

Haha, I think that gaming will eventually take over the lives of 9/10 people in the world. That last person...well...we killed him because he didnt game. And he refused to believe that females played games.

I think is more that girls don't want to welcome themselves to a bunch of guys over the internet who might be 40 years old, start acting like idiots to try to get attention from them, even though they live 20 000 miles away from them even though they don't know how the other looks >.>

Anyway, its about time I joined this thread, just welcoming all the girl gamers, and other new forum surfers who happen to stumble upon this page.

I've been browsing this site for a while but I've only recently registered so I figured it was time to introduce myself! I managed to snag a reservation for a wii a month before launch so I got mine on launch day. Not surprisingly, I was the only girl in line. I'm a big Wii supporter and I see it climbing to the top by the end of next year. There are too many girl closet-gamers out there.
