Photoshop is like a drug. I get these sort of like phases where I just start cutting, pasting, and altering images to make avatars. My longest stint was something like 3 and half hours and I still have yet to count how many I made.
3 is enough for today i guess.... i ran out of cool ideas. and tools.

You've got AA halos around your images, try upping the threashold on your smart select
and learn how to do bloom effects, they can make all the difference in people choosing your sigs
Yeah the images itself like Link or Peach dont blend too well, Soo Ill take that advice!
I just need to figure out how to add pleasent text.. almost as if I was using Word. But everytime it I try it turns out to look too thick.

I suggest saving them as PNG, its better quality.
You're current sig is your best so far, but That border you tried to pull of doesn't look so good, try stoking the outside of the sig 3 pxls, white with overlay, then again with 2 pxls. Thats should look better.
The samus one isn't to great, you should download some brushes, I suggest abstract and grunge, and just randomly place brush strokes for a bg. Plain red just doesn't look good, and I'm not a fan of the stroke around Samus. (Sorry I'm being so negative, just trying to help out, and I don't know as much a d4rk, so if he counters me, just listen to him ^^;)
I also suggest making the last two sigs smaller, I'm not a fan of bg sigs, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

Yeah my current sig is nice, but once I merged them I was like... No. This isnt how I want it anymore. ATM im just using a trial version of Corel Pain I thin I could download the trial again =]
