Yes, they're finally here. Mario Kart and Ocarina of Time announced for Virtual Console, along with other great titles.
Yesterday we passed along some great info concerning the Virtual Console and the
newly announced games. Those games were sent in to be rated by the ESRB and that's how these games were discovered. This list included games such as Duck Hunt and Punch-Out, but this second update contains some of the bigger Nintendo games.
- Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (SNES)
- Kirby's Super Star (SNES)
- Mario Kart 64 (N64)
- Starfox 64 (N64)
- Super Metroid (SNES)
- Kirby's Dream Land 3 (SNES)
- The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time (N64)
- Excitebike (NES)
- Ice Climber (NES)
- Dr. Mario (NES)
- Mario Brothers (NES)
- Ice Hockey (NES)
- Soccer (NES)
Yes! There it is! Ocarina of Time. All these games make the last list look like junk. We have no idea when these games will be out, other than the new year. With Nintendo's 10 games per month plan that means that if Nintendo follows the order in which they submitted these games to the ESRB we could see these games as early as Feburary.
Virtual Console Gets Updated Again - IGN
SWEET!!! i was honestly disappointed with the previous VC lists, but this makes it SO much better. i love the old Kirby games for the SNES, look forward to some old school classics like Excitebike, and absolutely ecstatic about not only LoZ: OoT, but Mario RPG: LotSS. if Nintendo's actually releasing that game on it's VC, anyone else think it may be a pre-cursor(sp?) to Geno being in SSBB?
How many VC games can be loaded into Wii? Do they remain resident or do they swap out?
Super Mario RPG!! about friggin' time, and no, geno isn't going to be in Super Smash Bros.
Wow great VC games, but i wont need to have to download neither Mario Kart64, LoZ:OoT, and Star Fox64, since i have them 4 my N64.
But im really anxious for Mario RPG:LotSS and Super Metroid.
Its too bad you can only use the classic controller. Playing Perfect Dark or Goldeneye with the Wiimote would be very cool. Anyone know if there will be online multiplayer for certain VC games?
