Unlike past handheld Zelda titles, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass will not be developed by Capcom, it'll be developed by Nintendo. The DS-specific features will be put to good use:
- The stylus makes controlling Link easier than ever. Tap on the screen to make Link move, or sweep the stylus around him to swing the sword. Players can even draw a path for his boomerang and send it flying into hard-to-reach targets.
- Players can stash the map on the top screen for quick reference or drop it to the touch screen to make notes, study enemies, or chart a path for their boat to follow while they man the cannons.
-Compete with a friend over a local wireless connection: Guide Link through special dungeons to capture the Triforce, or command the forces that oppose him.
The game takes place a couple of years after The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Link, Tetra, and her pirates have set out to find a new land. However, they come across a dense fog where they find a deserted ship. Tetra finds herself in danger when she explores the ship, and Link falls into the ocean and becomes unconscious while trying to save her. When he wakes up, washed up on an island a distance away, a fairy joins up with him to try and find Tetra.
The entire game will be played using the touchscreen. You can use the stylus to move, fight, communicate and solve puzzles. The top screen will usually act as a map. The map can be brought to the lower screen to scribble notes on for future reference. The map can also be used to chart out a path when sailing. The game will also feature a wireless multiplayer mode in which one player is Link running away from monsters (the other player) while picking up enough force gems to ward them off.

Because its a direct sequel to windwaker. Oh and play links awakening my favorite zelda.
I dont like the whole Stylus thing this is why I dont think I will get it mabye borrow/Start a new game but now buy.
Ther isnt enough info to say if indeed the only way of play is the stylus... I dont mind I just wnat to play some LoZ on my DS... a long term game finally!

this game looks pretty good and everything but what realy turns me off r two big thiings the whole birds eye view of everything whic makes me feel like im playin the gameboy avance ones again
