All I hear for the Xbox is halo. Yes, it is a fun game on multiplayer, but just to buy the 360 for halo, WASTE-O-MONEY.
360 will have more than Halo, eventually. I'll get the 360 mainly for the sports games like NCAA 07

Yeah exactly. When Halo 3 is finally released the XB360 will be cheaper but still, I don't think I'll get it when Halo 3 is released since I'll be busy buying a PS3. I will be getting Halo 3 and an XB360.

I can't stand FPS's on consoles due to the two joystick control scheme, so I never got into Halo 1 or 2 on the Xbox (played 1 on my PC and enjoyed it), and I will not likely get 3.??
It's actually one of the reasons I'm excited about the Wiimote!??On the other hand, I enjoy Smash Brothers so much that if the Wii released and the only game Nintendo ever made was SSBB, I would still buy it.??I'm sure fans of Halo will make Halo 3 and the 360 successful.

The reason people get hooked to it (I think) is the multiplayer. My friend had xbox live and it was awsome. People would be cussing you out on how they would beat you and then you smoke them. lol But multiplayers funnest whne you pwn your best friend lol.

i cant see myself using the wiimote for fps games. i dont think it will be as responsive as a mouse nor will it be as good as analog sticks either, but we'll see. COD3 will be a good gage for how it handles.
halo became popular mainly because the control scheme was so tight and near perfect which was never the case with earlier fps's on consoles. also, with halo2, the developers are always updating and fine tuning the multiplayer aspect of the game. i dont know if any of you halo2 players remember when the grenades wouldnt do any damage and nailing a sticky bomb on a person wouldnt net you an insta kill. anyway, they tweaked it based on players response. just recently they added new gametypes through a poll/contest on their website...for free btw.
halo2 is still the most played game on xbox live. it even beats out every xbox360 game.

As far as consoles FPS games go, its true, they are inferior to PC FPS but honestly, I can't afford to keep upgrading my PC so I'll stick to console FPS games.
Like I stated in another post.Its Halo3,and Fable2 that will keep the 360 alive,and yes most likely these two titles are a good reason to buy a 360.
fable 2 is my main reason. I hope they make it longer than the first one.
