I see, mind telling me how you made the niffty 3-d image sig? Is it a function in Fireworks? Or did you have to pixilate all that?

i've never used any kind of PS-ish program, so i wouldn't be much for the sig creations. i've got a new friend that's going to give me a copy of Maya, a 3D modeling program, so i may post something up from that once i get used to it. hopefully a couple weeks from now

I've tried doing design contests in the past to see who could come up with the best whatever and mine ended up being the only entry XD
umm the 3d? I did it by hand
you red shift your image, then you make a copy (of the original) and make it like 20% transparency and tint it cyan. then move it to the left a little
its doesn't make the best 3D (I've not totally sussed it out myself yet XD) but It looks quite good.
It also looks good if you only offset the cyan image by varying amounts, I.E my bg is offseted a lot but Motoko is only offsetted a little
and the lines and pixels are just overlay textures to break up the background a little XD

Lol, I swear I just noticed this portfolio forum about thirty minutes ago and was trying to decide if it was always here and I just didn't see it or it was just added and no one had put anything in it. Then I saw it suddenly had a thread pop up with many replies and was like ...eh? Then I read the post above and was like Ohhhhhh... Ok, end of story. Great work on those sigs though. The 3D one is still my favorite and remember it from back in the day. Best sig I ever saw on here IMO. I like most of the others too!
