today is bungie's 5 year anniversary and they decided to announce a few special things. first, there are some new halo 2 maps coming, but will only be available for 360 owners. theyre not free, and who knows if they ever will like with the previous map pack. next year, they're also going to begin a public beta for halo3. most likely, you will need to pay too. if you haven't heard, there was a survey going around by MS asking if 360 owners would be willing to pay to play beta titles. if you missed it, go here. finally, there will be a 60 second halo 3 teaser/trailer on dec. 4 during the monday night football game (i think that's on CBS? i dont watch football). if you miss it, don't worry. it will be available for download on the XBL marketplace the following day.
