Overrated: Super Mario Sunshine.
I hear people talk it up. But frankly I thought it stunk. It was merely Mario 64 with and annoying water cannon and one of the easiest boss fights in the history of gaming. It was a severe letdown.
Underrated: F-Zero series.
I don't hear enough people talking about this amazing racing game. Seriously, I find it more entertaining than half of the offerings out there. F-Zero is amazingly good, so people need to pay more attention to it.
underrated: tie between Tales of Symphonia for GC and Golden Sun series for GBA. they are both excellent RPGs. ToS does have an absolutely awesome story when you get through the whole game. GS was just so addicting though. i couldn't put the game down
I could't agree with you more on this. GS is very addicting. ToS is in my opinion the best of the Tales series.
But anyway. Overrated: Any pokemon game after the 2nd generation
They all sucked b/c there were little to no original pokemon ideas in those games every pokemon was just a rip-off of the 1st generation.
Underrated: NBA Hangtime for N64-- one the most addicting b-ball games ever. Little Fighters 2. Just go to freewarefiles.com and download it. It will probably take like 2 hours but it's worth it. Lastly, believe it or not, Starfox. Fox gets no love in Japan and gets very little mainstream success in the States.

Overrated: Halo(All), Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, Golden Sun (It was good, but it wasn't as great as many claim it to be)
Underrated: Indigo Prophecy, Kirby(All, It looks like everyone thinks of it as some kind of barney game -_-), Fire emblem (While it may be popular between the Hardcore gamers, it's not appealing at all for the average gamer)
Overrated: World of Warcraft (dare I say it?)
It's a fun game, but I just think too many people go far too overboard with it, if ya know what i mean...
Underrated: I'd have to agree with a couple people in here and mention the F-Zero series as well as Tales of Symphonia (GCN). I'm hoping they make a new F-Zero... that's all i can think of for now.

overrated: Halo. 1-players=bad. multiplayer=not that good. overall=absolutely nothing special. if you want a good multiplayer FPS, find a way to play Perfect Dark from the N64.

Yeah i totally agree with you. Own them both and I remember when I first got Golden Sun I was like WOW! And ToS I played so many damn hours on.. man it was addicting.

You speak the truth. Beyond Good and Evil surprised me as I wasn't sure if it would be any good. But after I hired and played it I have to say I enjoyed it quite alot.

Seriously, its definitely my second favourite Nintendo franchise, it kicks ass and is Nintendo's shining light to become known for mature games.

Underrated: Chrono Trigger! woo! though, it's less underrated and more of just a sleeper I guess. I've never heard ANYONE say a bad word about Chrono Trigger.
