Looks like they patterened it after one of the best controller designs of all time: the SNES controller. It rocked, it does rock, it will continue to rock. It's simple, non-threatening, and even keeps the "XABY" configuration!
And they've added analog sticks! Woo! Will the remote fit into this controller somewhere, or is just a standalone?
I would assume standalone, but I'm not sure exactly how. It appears corded, perhaps attaching to the WiiMote or in the Gamecube ports? Can anyone confirm?
my guess would be it plugs into gamecube ports, for those who don't wanna use Wiimote (for whatever reason) and don't own a GC or any of the controllers
Do u have to buy it Seaperate or does it come in a bundle
I played with it and it feels IDENTICAL to the snes controller, very comfortable.
I was never into SNES, I was a child of the N64. I don't really care for the new design; I'm all for the Wii-mote, but my friends might be a little more technological "conservative", so I might get one anyway. Do we have a price?
the retro controller is really mainly for the virtual console.
I grew up with the NES/SNES controllers and i'll say once you grab a dual shock or gc controller the ergonomics are much better
