The very first Wii Consoles were recorded on
NexGen Wars' online sales ticker. At about midnight central time, 450 Wiis popped up. The 360 had just hit 7 million and the PS3 was creeping up on 250,000. Below you'll find an image of the historic occasion and up to the second sales information courtesy of NexGen Wars.

No, it's showing a 6 digit number. Not a seven digit number, which is the amount going to be sold between now and the end of the year.
wii will definitely sell more wii's than PS3s. im sure of that. for now.

There were 600,000 Wiis in the U.S. on sale and 200,000 in Canada & Mexico making the total 1 million for the first shipment.
