I get about half way through the first update and it dies, oh well, no VC for me tonight. I'm going to assume that it's because the network is being bombarded with lots of happy campers.

Mine seemed to work just fine. However, I'm now updating a second time. I just want to play some tennis!!!
Did you pick up any other games, or is it just the WiiSports for now?

so joker did your 2nd update ever work? Mine didn't it gave me an error message. I was able to get the first update but not the second.
I finally got the 1st update and I'm just finished the 2nd at about 2:45AM >_<. I'm pretty sure it was an issue of a couple thousand people spamming the update servers at once. But alls good now. ^^

And played about 10 mintes of Zelda and some Wii Sports and Rayman. I haven't even scratched Zelda yet but Wii sports is...interesting and Rayman is fun though one of the game is just hard and another is hard for me because my hands are shaky (haven't found the sensitivity setting yet).
I'm still working on getting used to everything also.
Okey Im sure, trading Red Steel in for Rayman cause everyone has bad experiiences with the game
