I have wii connect 24 turned on, mode on standby, and slot lite to bright.

it flashes once when i turn it on, doesn't flash when i insert disks, and most likely wont if i receive messages.

has anyone else tested this?

how does the light around the disk tray work?

And is there a way to add a friend by a username instead of the long Wii ID xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx ?

HM.. nintendo said they wouldnt have it on all the time... mayby its supposed to happen

if your wii is running fine i wouldnt worry to much
