Hey,
Here is my illustrated guide to syncronising the Wii Remote in two separate ways:
Thankyou
Neil
Why doesn;t the image work?
I see it fine...
Nice Guide.
I thought something was wrong with my console when I brought it home and it wasn't working right. I found out that I needed to sync the remote for some reason. The guide says that the mote with the console should come sync'd but it wasn't.
Great guide! I will be sure to use it once I get a second Wii Remote and Nunchuck.

what's the difference between the "one time sync" and the "standard mode"? im at school right now, and i cant exactly read my wii manual right now...
I think the one-time sync is supposed to be used when you take your wiimote to other people's wii consoles to play...at least I think...correct me if I'm wrong...
Hey, Sorry about me not responding earlier. I was asleep!
Right, the difference:
Standard Mode - To permanently sync a remote with a console. The sync only gets overwritten if you sync the remote using this method again to another console.
One time sync: - This is used if you have a remote that you take to your friends house and instead of doing a full sync to their wii you temporarily sync it. The sync is lost when power is switched off to the console.
Thanks
Neil
So, can I standard sync it to my console, and still be able to one time sync at a friends house?
Yes! Thats the idea!, You can do a full sync to a friends console but you will have to resync it to your own again when you get back so the one time sync is a clever and usefull idea.
nice. good thinking from the big N
it doesn't work 4 me this synchronization...i do it at the wii menu and then when i select the game the second remote shuts off and i tried both ways...do i have 2 continue synchronizing every time i go to a different channel or screen??????????
No you shouldn't have to resynch every time like that. Are all of your Wiimotes doing that are only one. It may be a bad Wiimote if it's not working for you.
that suxs...thank god i have the reciet lol
