i am trying to get into the shop channel. it says to set up your internet connection. i did it. then it updated. then it said we need to update your wii channels i pushed ok. it just says updating please wait a moment. does anyone elese have this problem.?
Mine did the same thing... I bit the bullet and turned it off
after about an hour. Nothing bad happened and it is now updating properly.
Mine updated TWICE. I don't think it's a problem, just a first time thing, updating two different things.
no it just keeps saying updating and never does. i will do with the firest reply said. thank you. ill pass the time by watching the bengals. go bengals
I've got a choice of watching either the Packers and Pats or the Jets and Bears....
Just be patient and let things download and update.
I have yet to update my Wii...I actually just got back from my second trip to Target today to pick up the USB connector.
Anyone else having this problem? Is it safe to shut it off if it does get stuck while updating?
*UPDATE* - I just updated my Wii with no problems. I was worried for a minute, but now I can relax and play all night!
I had the same problem. my second update will not work. it jsut starts then give me error code after about 8 minutes 32004

Its the WiFi USB connector for the DS. It works for the Wii as well, and works wonders for those of us who don't have wireless capabilities just yet. 
edit: try using an older version of wpa.(or is it wep?
I tried it and did the login thing, but I don't think I did it right so I just ended up resetting it
I'm not buying and VC games until Christmas anyways
