ok Do I need a USB Connector to go On wiiconnect24? And if I do get one will it work for the DS games with Wifi too? And one more thing if I get the USB connector does the computer have to be on while I am doing things Wifi?

If the computer freezes, I guess it would be the same as if it was off. So, just restart you computer and it will be fine.
