There are rumors elsewhere on the site that some stores may be getting second shipments as early as today. I want to know if there's any confirmed shipment dates, and would Nintendo announce it. (What if they're shipped, but no announcement and all of those poor Wiis sitting there because nobody knows that they exist?)

Ebgames told me today that they get like 1 Wii in a week or so.
My information I've got from the walmarts near me is pretty conflicting. One says they won't get a shipment for 2 weeks and the other says its coming tonight overnight and they are going to put them out as soon as they get them...I think the lady at the first walmart was just sick of hearing people ask the question haha
Yeah, the attitude you get from some people is really annoying. But even worse is when you can tell that they're so annoyed from answering calls about Wii and PS3 that they give you a lazy, uninformed answer.

This is true. I got one tday, that was recieved via fedex this morning at gamestop. Be persistent everyone. The rumors are fact. The systems can be at your store right now or tomorrow afternoon. I know it is tough nagging these stores, but they are getting them. If this gamestop got some today, then I know for a fact Bestbuy, Target and Walmart are close behind.

You know what's really funny, I called everywhere where they sell Wii's and they ALL have no idea when the next shipment is coming. Only Wal-mart said sometime after thanksgiving. I'm just going to call everyday until they give me an answer.
my best buy said they were getting a shipment in on wed. or thur. but they may or may not hold them untill sunday for a second launch! which would suck, but i dont care, i got a wii the only thing i want is 2 more nunchucks, then ill have 4 and 4!
