So, my mom knows how much I've been wanting a Wii. Due to religious standards (My religion comes before EVERYTHING- even video games) I couldn't buy the Wii on launch day. Today, she went to 6 different stores, actually WENT to, and asked when they were getting their next shipments. No one had any good knews, but she picked up the last copy of TP at Toys 'R' Us (It's coming out of my money, just so you know). When I told her about my local Gamestop getting them on Friday, she said "7 am? What time were you planning to go?" I told her 5:30-6, and she said "Are you sure that's going to be earlier enough? Your brother will be in town, it's a school holiday, why don't you two camp out for it?"

So, I might be camping out for it... I'm not quite sure yet. But I am DEFINITELY getting it Friday.
Good Luck, I plan on telling my dad and letting him decide on what to do.
Camp man...I camped at Kmart...I know..but its was the only place with Wii's on Launch and no lines at 10pm.

Anyways, camp. Cause when I was at Kmart, right around 5-6...three hours before opening, the people started lining up. It was such a great feeling looking at people and saying...sorry, I got the last ones.

Thats very cool and a great post. I know a lot of others would overlook that extra effort she went to since she wouldn't allow you to go on Launch day. While it may be hard now, you WILL get a Wii and it will be well worth it. Just hang in there...

Again very cool. I wish you the best on Friday on getting your Wii.

Its too bad Gamestop and all won't allow people to pay upfront and then fill the orders as they come in.

horray for moms everywhere!

camping out was a great experience for me, and im sure it will be for you too. Smile
