I couldnt find the thread if there is one...but how do u save games to the sd card? it just saves to the internal memory. Is there a setting im missing that says to have default saves go to the SD card? Only thing i could find is you can copy the saves to the sd in the management settings, not default them to the SD?

I'm slightly confused with your post? Are you asking about how to save game saves to an sd card? Or are you asking about VC games to an sd card?
i think that the wii will always save the games to the hard-drive and the only way to get the saves to the SD card is copying them from the HD.
yea Im asking how to save wii game saves to the SD Card....that was the reason I got the SD Card was for game saves....and also after finding out the the virtual console games dont save onto the SD Card either, it seems its nearly pointless I even got an SD Card, unless I copy friends game saves to the sd card...oh well, i only spent like $20 on a 1GB sd anyway...good backup i guess.
I think you need to download the update or a soon-to-be-released update that will allow SD card saves.
Yeah possibly.. and no way would you be allowed to save the VC games on a SD card. It wouldn't make sense if you think about it anyway.
Yeah you would... It would only work on YOUR Wii though, so that you couldn't give it to everyone on the block.

I think you can only save VC games on a Wii SD card and those currently have 512mb to 2GB
Can't you just go to the memory managment screen in the Wii settings and just copy/move your save data to the SD card? The games that are set to read from the hard drive won't read it but it would be good for transporting and freeing up space on the hard drive.
