it is reporting that, as of this minute, the wii has sold within three quarters of a million units IN ONLY TWO DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that is some serious buying right there.
and, when i opened the site, waited 30 seconds, then clicked refresh, it said that around 20 more wiis were just sold! that's insane!
UPDATE: IN JUST ONE MINUTE, THE NUMBER JUMPED BY ONE HUNDRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm wondering, how accurate is this? Every place I know of has sold out, plus, even if the stores have some left, I dont think they would send updates to this site every minute or so. My guess is they are either:
A.) Getting the totals from the Nintendo Warehouse.
B.) Doing it by a probability equation of some kind. For example, Every minute, X amount are sold based on location, time, and a number of other factors.
aren't cash registers hooked up to some big network or something?

I am amazed. think about it, three fourths of a million 250 dollar consoles in just two days. it is just awesome.

So, yeah, it is just an estimate. It still is pretty nice to get a close amount of how much was really sold.
It isn't updated the moment they are bought.. no it's not an equation.. and it's updates after they are bought hence forth as to why it seems that way.. So if I buy one now.. it might not register on the site until later tonight or even tomorrow.
