Yeah. When or IF I get the Wii Friday, then I'm going to get Metal Slug Anthology Next Year, because I won't have any money til' after christmas.
I really love Metal Slug a lot but it's been mentioned before that maybe it should have been offered in the VC Shop instead. I would rather have the CD Game version but maybe not for forty dollars. Perhaps if I can get it 2nd hand somewhere for say $20 or so then yeah I'd love to get it.

that actually be a good idea. figure there are 7 games, each game would be $8 since they're above the NES, which totals just $42. then you can only buy the ones you want and keeps from the loading of all the games together, but what can ya do? too late to complain bout that now. i'll pick it up used at GameStop since it's so much fun and good for alot of play since they get pretty hard (least for me)
Yeah, 2nd hand buy for the win, unless they cut the price in half (which according to Nintendo, games that are "less graphically gifted") would have a lower price than the said $50. Or at least that's what I thought I read.

Maybe I'm missing something, but aren't we talking about Metal Slug Anthology? Does that have anything to do with Metal Gear games? I don't believe it does, but I may be wrong.

I think it was just a typo on his part. About the price of the game, where I'm at we never get the retail of the game unfortunately. Still I'll probably pick it up if I see one 2nd hand. I can't bring myself to pay full price for something I can easily emulate and have done so before. Being on the Wii would be easier to play but not $40 bucks worth of easier.
I think the price on this is pretty fair considering that so far the only way these were available at home use was on last gen systems (I think only Xbox and PS2....but perhaps one released on Cube). So far then there wouldn't be the latter games on the VC at all, because they are too new. For fans I would say an instant pick up (which is what I will be doing), but for more casual players I seriously think this will be at $20 used after 6 months or so. I just hope that I can use the classic controller on this one...
