Well since its 1st Party Nintendo I'd hope its free.

I dont find Zelda to be a game to get extra levels like that.
11-24-2006, 08:16 PM
It sounds strange, but I'm interested. If it brings something new to TP then its welcome.
11-24-2006, 08:17 PM
I hope it will just be like new bosses every week Now that would be awesome.
11-25-2006, 08:44 AM
It would be, but we have to remember the small amount of space they would be working with.
11-25-2006, 09:01 AM
Have the extra levels been confirmed by anyone? That would really be awesome!

Well there were rumours about downloadable content for the Wii version awhile ago.
11-25-2006, 09:09 AM
Woah.. just skipped right by me. I don't remember even hearing about anything of the sort.. Figures though.. heh.. Thanks.

I heard about the downloadable content too, but it could just be a rumor. If there will be anything, then it's probably going to be extra items or little fun stuff like that. A completely new temple or dungeon doesn't seem likely, considering that one would probably be large in size (and the Wii only has 512MB total storage) But there could be extra stuff crammed onto the Wii version (Wii discs are over twice the capacity of GCN discs) that will need some sort of downloadable "key" to be accessible... that would be friggin awesome.
Anyway, concerning the thread topic: Yes, after 15 hours of play time, I really do believe that Twilight Princess is the best Zelda game ever. Once you experience how enormous Hyrule is in TP, you'll be amazed. And it really annoys me that it's getting some crap for not having true "next-gen" graphics. Sure, it's true, but it really doesn't make a difference... I've never seen a Zelda game look so beautiful, and that's all that matters to me.

this is, IMO, absolutely, the best Zelda game. the controls are easier to master than i ever could've imagined (except that damn shield bash. just won't work when i want it to); the graphics are stunning no matter what TV you're running off (still got my composite cables goin'); the story is more dramatic, involving, unique and rivoting as anything; for me to put this game ahead of OoT would be just plain stupid. not that OoT was a bad game, far from it, but it had its problems such as camera and movement control issues. my biggest complaint with TP is that those issues are basically still there. after playing for about 25 hours, it finally struck me: IT'S A FRIGGIN' UPDATE OF OCARINA OF TIME!!!! i NEVER would've thought Nintendo would stoop this low and just update the resolution of an old game, but they did. i'm pissed at Nintendo for doing this, but that's not the game's fault. Twilight Princess is still better than Ocarina of Time

It should have an orchestrated score. Ocarina had MIDIs because it didn't have much choice, but this... *shakes head* they said they'd have an orchestrated score.

I havn't heard TP's music yet, but is it better or worse than the music in Wind Waker? Because WW sounded pretty good.
11-25-2006, 09:57 PM
It sounds good... for MIDI. Could be better but its acceptable. As for the comparison to WW its hard to say... since the atmosphere both games take place in is different.

IT IS REALLY HARD TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION.......EVERY ZELDA GAME IS UNIQUE.....I PLAYED THEM ALL....I LOVE THEM ALL....AND NOW I STARTED PLAYING TWILIGHT PRINCESS ON THE Wii, THE STORY SO FAR IS AMAZING , THE CONTROL IS GOOD AND EASY TO GET USED TO. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE CAMERA.....I AM USED TO THE C-STICK IN THE CUBE JOYPAD...HERE YOU CAN'T RALLY CONTROL THE CAMERA AS IT WAS IN OCARINA OF TIME AND WIND WAKER.
BUT AS I MENTIONED EARLIER , THE STORY IS REALLY GOOD , GRAPHICS ARE SO NICE DESPITE BEING A GAME CUBE GAME , AND THE Wii CONTROL IS FUN.

Oh yeah, I didn't even think of the camera. I enjoyed being able to adjust it easily with the C-stick in WW.

I like the music it sounds like it from OOT but just with a different ring to it

11-25-2006, 11:11 PM
And not orchestrated.
11-25-2006, 11:13 PM
btw, what do you mean by orchestrated?
11-25-2006, 11:24 PM
Best game I have played is Metroid Prime 1. Then again, i haven't played OOT...
