Tiger Direct is having a Pre-Thanksgiving day sale right now. They have a 2GB SD card (looks like a no name brand) for $29.95 (no rebate involved). I've also seen Staples and WalMart Friday ads and it appears they will have 1GB SD cards for $14 (in store purchase from like 6am to 10am).

Tiger also has a 1GB SD for like $5 but thats with a $40 rebate (I don't like rebates so avoid those "deals").

Thought I'd post here since these could be used with the Wii.

Thats the $29.95 deal on the 2GB SD card.
I used to have a 512MB one, but I stuck it into a thumb-drive type reader, and lost it. You can't save game saves to a SD Card that you insert can you?
Yep, You can its like a backup memory card for the wii if your 512 mb hard drive in the wii runs out of space. Very likely for me though.
even if it is no name still a good buy
Just FYI, Best Buy is selling Nintendo Brandy "Switch & Play" SD cards. The 2gb ones go for $99, can you believe it?

I bought a 2gb toshiba SD card for $35. Who would pay $100 for one!?
hmm I just bought a 2gig SDcard for 20.95 and there will be a 5 dollor mail in rebate.
Where from? And what brand?
Kingston 2GB Secure Digital Card (SD) at Buy.com and I used the Google Checkout, to get a discount, and I'll also get a 5 dollor mail in rebate.
Thanks, I think I might have to jump on that deal lol.
*is scared at the prospects of turning that into Australian currency because he'll be robbed blind by these SD cards by the looks of it*

Lol, I'll be bargain hunting tomorrow by the looks. Just so I can get in before the stupid retailers around my town realise that they can charge more than I want them to lol.
there are about 3-4 different brands on newegg.com for about $30. and newegg's shipping is always lower than tigerdirect, for some reason their shipping is almost always outstandingly high.
Yeah, newegg for the win guys. They have the best deal. Too bad you can't plug in a jump or external hard drive using those USB ports on it. That'd be great.
Yeah, b/c I was planning on picking up a 1GB Jump Drive Friday.
I think this price beats them all.
Circuit City SanDisk 1GB SD Card for $2.99
Thats after various rebates, the only hastling one being a $27 mail-in rebate.
This offer is available today online and in stores tomorrow.
Cool, but most of the rebate comes from the mail-in.
