I almost bought Excite Tuck on launch day but my brother said he played it at gamestop and thought it was stupid.... my friend went with him to gamestop too and he also thought it was horrible...

what do u guys think of it??? I just want to know if I should get it for Christmas or summin
Perhaps I'm just too much of a newbie, but maybe this is the wrong forum to post this in..?
I have a huge family so it has to have a good multiplayer or its not worth it

so how's the multiplayer for it????
The controls are too sensitive! Happy?!?!

But seriously, try the General Games forum..
Umm, if its like need for speed raceing then i'll like it, I have no Idea.

Did anyone say what was actualy bad about it?
The multiplayer is fun, but the single player I hear is very basic (I played it at Gamestop, and the manager said that he beat it fairly quickly.) Worth a buy if you like purely multiplayer games, but not very sure about the single player other than what the manager said.
My friend said it was horrible...but I cant decide before I play the game.
Look at the reviews.
On X-PLAY it got a 4 out of 5. X-PLAY except:

Excite Truck is fun to play. It’s as simple as that. Trees blur as you race past lush forests. You press the button furiously to get back on the track after a nasty crash. The music dies just as you hit the apex of an incredible jump leaving you only with the sound of wind and a smile on your face. There’s no need to tweak or tune-up any of the generic cars you win by completing tracks. It’s the nice game you can play with friends or take home to your mom. While this may not be a racing game for the hardened fans of the genre, Excite Truck may just win over a new fan base through its simple controls, interactive environments, and a soul that remembers when people played games for fun.

This an excerpt from IGN's review which it received an 8 out of 10:

I'm more of a Burnout and San Francisco Rush fan than a Gran Turismo and Forza gamer, and Excite Truck for Wii is definitely right up my alley. Excite Truck is clearly a first generation console game that will, without a doubt be outdone in the Wii system's later years. But as a game that bursts right out of the gate as a launch title for the system, Excite Truck is a fulfilling, fun, energetic arcade-style racer that features a good balance of technology and technique. There are a few spots in places that could have been filled, like its weak two player option and trick system, but overall this game definitely pulls off the intense racing rush that quality arcade racers offer.

The game isnt as bad as I thought then.
its a pretty fun game. I'd buy it (but it youre still unsure, why dont you go to Gmaestop to try it youreself) it cant really be compared to any other racing games, maybey burnout. Its about doing stunts, but still trying to be 1st.
Since my cousin has it I will eventually play it Then right a Half assed review no A Quarter ass.
It's fun.. but it's not for hardxcore racing fans. I think the controls are neat and it's funny to see your truck being launched into the stratosphere. Definitely something to fill that hole in your heart until the games start pumping out. Big Grin
I've lost all faith in game reviews from all sources. The best reviewer for me to base my opinions on is myself. I'm not going to believe anything they write anymore.
Video Reviews FTW!
I agree with you.. for some reason.. lately at least.. reviews have been really insane. I think there is some serious bias going on now with all the machines.. or maybe people are just expecting far too much. I can see where they come from.. but I don't think these reviewers are catching the concepts of these games.

Let me clairify then
I won't believe anything they write, say, and/or display/animate Toungue

XD

Nah Video Reviews help because they can actually show you what they don't like about it.
