you can get warrenty on a wrist strap? LOL
If you break your Wii-mote, you will no doubt be able to get free replacement for as long as it's under manufacturer's warranty (don't have one so I don't know, but my guess is 30-60 days).
I better get warrenty on it?
Manufacturer's warranties are complimentary. It's probably a small piece of paper with a bunch of fine print buried somewhere in the box.
Wii-motes are to expensive over $50 ONE GAME price
Replacement battery covers are $1 from http://store.nintendo.com/ and so are wrist straps.. so $3 should get me back to where I was. Although backordered until Dec 4th is unfortunate.
They need to be sent to you which will take a little while so about a little while with No playing..well you can play..with CAUSION!
Oh it doesn't stop the playing, we're playing right now. We taped the cover on and tied the wrist straps.. and I've threatened to kill anyone who messes up my wiimotes.
I know it doesnt stop playing but its scared to play with so much problems.
Just think, the next Strong Man competition is going to include Wiimotes. If it's that durable, it might be possible.
Hey, I would like to participate!
I don't see how this happens, I guess people just over-exagurate things, I mean, why the hell do u need to swing SOOO hard??? and if its really that bad then find some "strong" string or wire/cord that will hold your idiotic "powerful" swings
I try to hit it extra hard but I dont let it out of my hand.
But the odd thing is, that I've heard from multiple places that's reviewed it that you really dont need to swing that hard to get the best effect. Which is really wierd that people keep going overboard like that.
Small flicks of the wrist work JUST as well as powerful exaggerated swings. It's all proportional.
I heard someone said if you hit it light it does a grounder if you hit it hard it goes more Pop-fly-ish.
From what I've played it's all the angle at which you swing. A good proof of how much force is necessary is to play baseball and do the pitching. A quick flick of the wrist = 94 mph, a powerful exaggerated throw = 94 mph.
Meh, just a wrist-strap, do big deal.

(Yay 300 posts!)
I know theres so many ways to mess up Wii-sports I thought I was clever with the Flick of the wrist .. Toungue
I got lucky and ordered 3 Wiimotes, and a Nunchuk on Nintendo.com before they were sold out. Toungue
