Hello everyone.

Anyone else excited to see Eragon: The Movie? I'm almost sure it will be bad, but for some reason, I'm always drawn to book based movies. Perhaps so I can see them rip apart all my hopes and dreams and hollywoodize them with a metrosexual Legolas.
I'm going next week with a bunch of my mates when it gets released here. I have to admit that I know nothing about it so maybe it won't be so bad for me if they don't follow the book. I hope it's as good as the trailer makes it out to look like.
The guy that plays him has blond hair, and in the book it states Eragon has brown hair for one.
i think it will be good only cause it HAS DRAGONS IN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i love dragons and so far the book is good Big Grin
havent seen a good movie with a dragon in it in ages. Last one was prolly DragonHeart. Looking foward to this for sure!
I went to see it last Sunday and I really enjoyed it. Eragon is much more tougher than Frodo. I can't stand Frodo because he's so weak. Eragon can do all kinds of things. I prefer Eragon to it though many people will tell me I'm gonna burn in hell for that comment. Toungue
Damn straight you'll burn.

Frodo is an average guy. My GOD he wasn't expecting to go on a quest with one ring which controls the fate of all Middle-Earth. He was just a Hobbit who enjoyed chilling in the Shire. He even states he isn't like Bilbo (ie. isn't a fan of adventures).

Give the guy some slack sheesh. Look at the shiz that little guy faced, its lame that you can't give him a break.

I like heroes that aren't all "Look how good I am, I never get scared" ect.

They are real heroes, no one's perfect and Frodo is a good representative of those sorta heroes.

LemonManX is done here *swirls cape and vanishes*
LMAO. I just remember the time when my girl first saw Frodo. She asked me "If the ring is so important why did they give it to the small girl?" and I said "That's no woman, that's a man baby...I mean a boy at least...I think". Being an underdog is one thing but being retarded, yes he was friggin retarded in that movie, is another. I liked every single person in the movie except for him.
Funny he was my favourite character behind Aragorn, Boromir and Gandalf.

But each to their own I guess, underdog heroes ftw!
I liked Eragon...it differed from the book sure but it was still good.
I'll probably see it but im not feeling the main character
