don't think it is a game i would buy.
I WOULD. It's tight. But Zelda and AC comes first and COD3.
=P
If our Miis can actually have facial expressions then it will be cool. Only one look all the time, always smiliing or frowning no matter if they win r lose is weird. It's like someone who is smiling but they're not actually happy, they're just crazy.
I mean I like the Sims and Animal Crossing but making the Sims in a more of a "friendly"form is a little =\.I know that Nintendo is kinda of the kiddy company but I like the original Sims and the Graphics of it..It doesnt look like it is Mii compatible but If there is features just like the sims for other platforms such as the xbox...I would buy it...Lets just hope they don't talk animal lol.XD
No offense but the graphics look like a N64 game....I am not impressed with the graphical power of nintendo right now(some of the games).I know its 480p.But I would like for Nintendo to make some games for a little mature not just 4 year old games...
Hooray! I will buy this when it comes out.

You start off in a rundown town, and must fix up your house. By doing so, you will attract people to live in your town

Customize character such as facial features, tattoos, clothing, and more

Building relationships is essential to the game, a relationship menu exists for you to see what your townsfolk think of you

Build your own furniture, accesories, and houses via a block building system

Objects in the game have an “essence” which can be used to help decorate your house

Characters that do not like your town go to a Volcano area

30 characters in DS version, 80 in Wii

New Info from NP Magazine

-The original town you start in is the same town of your grandparents

- Among others, the town will have a mad scientist, magician, chef, hair dresser, and florist
- Townsfolk will ask you to build things for them

-Artistic style was chosen to obtain worldwide appeal. The Sims doesn’t sell that well in Japan.

-Development team was partially inspired by the Sesame Street song “Who Are the People in your neighborhood?”

-Use Nunchuck for “direct movement”, Wiimote to point and move objects

WTF!?!?!?!

That was something out of the magazine i believe
I know but I mean they were partially inspired by SESAME STREET!!! I mean COME ON!!!
well, it dosen't really change anything. It ;ooks like it will be a good game and it has a very cutesy appeal for nongamers than the regular sims does.
Why Miis aren't in My Sims

Quote:
According to EA producer Eric Chartrand, Nintendo hasn't released the necessary tools to put Miis into third-party games yet. If the company wants Miis to become a lasting sticky application, it'd be wise to acclimatize third-party developers sooner rather than later.

I can't say anything about this game.. but so far, not impressed.

Why are you not impressed, The look will work because of all the casual & nongamers will love it. It's a different style than the other Sims game and it could have online play.

Not to be questioning too severely.

But if I were a non-gamer then I'd be much happier to buy a copy of the Sims 2 than this.

Having said that I'll probably buy this, but I'll be waiting for more Sims 2 stuff and hoping for a Wii release.
But A non-gamer would see how cute & adorable the game looks and could be attracted to it more than Sims 2
I am starting to like the new look of them. They are cute and adorable. -_o
