Hmm... I'm still sticking with The Sims 2.
Umm, I wouldn't like the sims for wii very much, atleaste not how it looks, form the images you've shown. The point of the sims is to have a very realistic life style game (sometimes unrealisitic though). I dont think they should make it all cartoonish and stuff, it just wouldn;t be the same! Sims isnt generally ment for kids, but i guess now it is! (i think). Anyways all i'm trying to say is, Sims should not be like that for wii, even if it is somewhat cute! The original sims graphics and stuff, are just how its suppose to be! But i can imagine how fun sims would be on the wii! Using the controler to cook a meal or chops things up. I dont know! Even if the sims did turn out to be all childish, i would still end up buying it XD! because its the SIMS!

I don't think EA chose this graphic style for MySims to be aimed at kids, I think they wanted it to have new style to go with their new direction on the Sims for Wii. The style of it is no different from Animal Crossing and people love that game. MySims will be fun nonetheless because of the cooking, fishing, digging for treasure, etc.
I think My Sims is going to be an amazing games (I wish it was online) but I do think the graphic style is made for a particular audience. I like how it looks, but I can't deny that it seems created for a younger crowd.
Is it already confirmed that it is not online? I did see the box art and didnt see the wifi logo but i am just making sure.

I'd love to visit other people's towns and such, but I'm guessing that there might be some ability to download new things via online, but I really doubt if we'll have true online support. I HOPE I'M WRONG.

I didn't see it on the bix arts, not even the DS one. It is a possibility that could change though. More so for DS than Wii.
I kind of like the cartoon style graphics. This may be my first Sims game.
That video actually got me more interested in the game because you do so much more compared to the other Sims game. It's a different for the series but i think it's a good one.

The graphical style is putting me off slightly.
I think it's gonna be a fun game, and I hope there's enough variety to keep things interesting. Too bad it's not WIFI because you could have friends move into your town or come to visit. There "COULD" have been a competive mode where a number of towns compete for population or something....oh well. Do we have a firm date on this games release?
