prob because the blue light is only turned on for 1/10th of a second lol

unless you moded it to keep it on all the time.

Agreed. It's the biggest gimmick the Wii has. It's cool and all but really not necessary and would change nothing at all if it was removed. I thought the controller speaker was a gimmick, but I was wrong. It's so awesome Big Grin.

It is cool, if it does stay on though I can see my room being an eerie blue colour at night.
if the wii is off (yellow light instead of blue) then the blue light stays on (unless my wii is special =) ) only when sum1 sends you a message from another Wii.
Wait... Your Wii emits a yellow neon light rather than a blue neon light when it's turned off?
i think he meens on the on button, for wiiconnect24. thats yellow if its on standby, also u can send ur Wii an email too, that also makes it light up, i think its cool, yes its a gimmik, but it stilll looks neat and theres nothing wrong with that.
