it would be nice if the Big "N" put out a downloadable demo for Brawl! (Not gonna happen, just dreaming)

Well technically its possible if they are doing the whole downloadable demo, but its up to Sakurai whether he'd want people playing an unfinished product.

I know. im just sick of waiting. Nintendo is really good a delays lol

I hope this rumor isn't true that's date is so far away even though it it's Q2.

I hate to burst everyone's bubble here but I can almost guarantee that SSBB won't be out until Q4. Metroid Prime 3 isn't even supposed to come out until Q2, and that is already 4 months overdue. I'm not sure what you guys read to make you believe it would be coming out so early but there's no way it will be out by summer. And really its not that long of a wait.

I still think it will be a Q4 release to be the next must have game for the holidays. A Q3 release would be nice but like others have said it's better for them to do it right then just try to meet a deadline.

In Q3 Nintendo could try to fight off Halo 3 and 360 by releasing Brawl around there.

Halo 3 is closer than some people think.

And Nintendo will need to get either Metroid or Smash out to try and hold sales.

I vote for Metroid. I have a feeling, like the DS, it'll be one of their first higher-end WiFi enabled game. Thus waiting for Brawl will be oh, so sweeter.

I don't think Nintendo has a 2007 release that could combat Halo in terms of sales.

I was listenting to the IGN Wii-k in Review and touched on this a bit. Matt Casamassina said that no matter what game were to be released up against Halo, Halo would dwarf it, regardless of which was the better title. There's just been so much hype and a long wait for it (much like Twilight Princess).
They even went on to say that any game released within a month of Halo 3 would fare poorly because people would overlook the other titles.

I must say that with this, I'm blown away. Somebody actually got my thought on Halo 3 right on the spot.

I think everyone should realize that. I know it's an opinion but it's an opinion that almost everyone agrees on. Halo 3 will most likely be the biggest selling game of the year. If anyone doubts that they are just in denial. I don't own Xbox360 but I'm just stating the obvious.
