I wanna know if its worth it because its a seriously expensive thing in the UK
£200 for the box
£300 for a lifetime subs
£200 for extra harddrives
£24 for satellite STB control
£10/pm for extra satellite STB
That's pretty damn expensive? Do you think you'd get some use out of it.. because at that rate you had better.
The extra Hard Drives aren't a necessity btw, just something I can choose to have fitted at the point of purchase
The extra satellite STB is so that TiVo has its own satellite tuner that is connected to TiVo only (that way people wont accidentaly change channels whilst TiVo is recording something)
Still. I don't find myself watching T.V... so I have no need for one.. but someone who does and wants/needs to record.. I would say go for it... It would really depend on you. I still think those prices are ridiculously high.
Lols yeah, but uk TV has got to the point that there is nothing to watch untill about 8oclockish and then all 1000 channels are showing something decent.
I like the idea that TiVo picks what your most likely to like and records it.
but yes, that would be a few months pay that could go towards my HDTV XD
