Apparently Ubisoft have been plugging away at the game and early reports suggest the game's controls have been improved.

One thing I can't do Is care less. Since the game already looks not to great I saw the Review on X-play and it finalized my decision for not getting the game.
I haven't had any issues with game control. It took me all of 15 mins to get used to it. I'm a PC gamers so holding my hands that far apart isn't an issue for me. I know the person I bought the game from said he missed is single controller for this type of game (Halo Fan Boy). So, unless you have better cut scenes then it doesn't matter to me.
If the UK version is better, I wonder if we might get a game update for those who own the game.

umm... no offense, but i've played thru over half the game and the controls don't really need to be improved. i guess they could rework the zoom function, but that's about all. it's not that the zoom function doesn't work well, just that it's annoying to extend your arm.
any of you that have been reading american reviews of it that rate it at about 5 or 6 out of 10 should know that those are just lousy reviews (but when aren't gaming reviews lousy). realistically they should rank it at around 8 out of 10.
erm maybe im missing something but i read the full article over and over, i can't see anywhere in there that claims the UK version to be updated over the 'released' US version.
they reveal that its much improved over the E3 version which was probably still in beta, but theres nothing new there. they said after E3 that they still had to decide just how the final controls would work.
so NOPE nothing better for EU/UK version. and were getting it later. sucks to be a brit. don't it.

I enjoyed playing at a friend's house. The controls are little "tough" to get used to, but after 30 minutes or so it really grabs you.
It's definitely on my "rent it for a final decision" list.
im not gonna get this game, but thats really odd that they'd make the game better in one region over another region
If it's even true, which I doubt, they are probably just messing around with the U.K. version since it's not yet released. I'm sure that if they actually make it better for the U.K. version, it will become an update for the U.S. version within a few days/weeks later.
Well if this is true it just adds to the list of advantages of getting the Wii later. If Red Steel gets its controls updated then that means there would be two games in the Wii launch worth buying, if not then Zelda is still the standout.
