Hey, me again. I have a few more questions about the Wii: 1)Will the Wii be able to play Japanese games and dvd without a freeloader, or does it need one (basically, is the Wii region-free?)
2)How can I tell how much space a game is going to take up on a memory card, bacause I can't seem to figure it out and I don't want to pay $100 for a memory card if I don't know how much space I need.

1) No. The Wii is region specific.

2) Depends if you want N64 games. Normally I'd say a 512Mb or a 1Gb would do ya, but N64 games take up a lot of space. Go for a 2 Gb or multiple SD cards if you plan on racking up N64 games.

(edit) I just remembered reading somewhere that you can't save VC games to your SD cards, so a 512 or 1G card would be fine. Keep in mind that once you buy a game off the VC, you can download it as many times as you want, until you format your system.

You don't have to spend $100 you can use any SD card it does not have to be made by Nintendo. I pick one up at wal-mart for $15
(1 GB).

Yeah, I bought my 2gb SD card from Office max, on sale for $35.
