I wish my Target wasnt stockpiling everything they get till Sunday
ITS BEEN CONFIRMED:
I talked to service reps at two separate targets, and all national Targets have been ordered by corporate to hold all Wii consoles until Sunday.
I was just told by my local Walmart that they were supposed to get a shipment today but it didn't come in. This means that all the people whose walmarts didn't receive Wii are receiving eventually, it is just a matter of if they will be stocked up for later or not
i plan to get up early for a wii on sunday. which store would i have a better chance of getting a wii, Best Buy or Target?
Id say Target id think because everybody tends to flock to Best Buy first before anything else atleast in my area anyway
Called all the stores in my area (College Station, TX). All of them seem to be following what the others are doing, either don't know or will be sunday/next week. One thing I was surprised at was when I called TRU I was expecting the guy to say "no clue when we'll get any". But this time he actually told me "We will probably get a shipment sunday or monday". No real confirmation, but this is more information from a TRU than I've seen from what others have been told.
@badboynick: a 24 hour walmart would be the best though ( if your walmart is receiving on sunday)

Los Angeles must be unfriendlier than most from what I've read. I actually had a Target guy tell me today that Nintendo has "stopped making Wiis" and that when they announce they are making more, I'll know the same time Target does when they'll get more in. The attitude I'm getting is infuriating.
I guess I'll be camping Best Buy like last weekend again.
People are flipping out because they have to wait until Saturday night, thats in like 3 days, its just 72 hours! Just get to your local Best Buy, Park a Lounge chair at midnight Saturday and wait and party all through the night.

Yes, they have beeen stockpiling there Wii's to sell on Sunday.
All Best Buy's work around the same schedule as far as launch dates and stuff, and it's already been confirmed several times on these forums that Best Buy's around the USA have already divulged their Sunday plans. So I still haven't heard it confirmed from my Best Buy in Central Florida, but I would expect them to, and I wouldn't count anything out until the last minute, because my Best Buy finally told me about the 11/27 release the night before.

i called one of my local best buys and asked if they would have any on sunday and the guys answer was total opposite from what i expected: "most likely not."

Yes. As IAMTHEONE1 said, all Best Buys in the nation work under the same release schedules.

Alright im going to call mine in a minute, but just for the record, dont say "are you gettin them in sunday. say "your going to be releasing more sunday right....that way it lets them know that you already know basically
