Toys R Us now saying come back on Sunday, there should be some in the ad.
Circuit City is saying they will get at least 10 on Sunday.
Target, once again, has no clue. Talked to a girl this time that said they got 38 in on Tuesday (yesterday another guy said 24) and sold them within the hour. She said they don't expect to get more before Christmas.
Looks like it's Sunday almost everywhere now. I told the guy at Circuit City that the people from Walmart told me Nintendo was making the companies "relaunch" the system on Sunday. He laughed, knowingly.

As a gamer desperately seeking a Wii console before Christmas, I think a good idea is to create a thread to post all information on possible shipment details we attain to worldwide chains. (walmart, BB, Gamestop, CC, etc.). Any good information we could get so we can know when and where to go. So anyone who has a bite on a good shipment, please post it here. I wish sincerely good luck to all others here looking to get a Wii.

Called a Target just now, they sold out right before i called (DKL#($*@#)$@*) and he said that they are going to be in next week's ad, but it's not 100% that the store will have any on sunday. I asked him if it would be a waste to go get there early, and he said "well i'd hate for you to wait out for hours, to not get anything if we don't get shipment in"
So yeah, sounds like Target is just winging it sunday. If they have some, they will sell them, but doesn't sound like my city is stock piling them for sunday, as they just sold all the ones they got today in within an hour
Here my wii chuckle of the day...
I've been calling one Target for three days, and the #4 electionics menu option always rings with no answer.
I finally called and hit 0 for operator, told her there was no answer at #4 and she asked what I needed. I told her I had a question about a TV and she said "oh, ok, I can put that through" and they answered right away. I think they have the #4 option going to la la land because of the wii and ps3 calls.

gamestop said they had it in their system that they were expecting some pretty soon, probably this week, but a shipment didnt come in today.
im going to be at gamestop at about 11:30 tomorrow so i hopefully wont have to get to bestbuy super early.

What's the deal with Gamestop/EBGames? Are they expecting shipment tommorow? I've heard Monday or Tuesday.
i was told by a manager yesterday that it was next week, but i think that really depends on your ebgames/gamestop. unlike some of the other stores, they are getting their shipments independent of each other, and are not hording them (or at least the store near me is not).

EB/Gamestop some have said next week some have said they have no idea some said that tomorrow they would know when they get some in they didnt say there we expecting any tomorrow they said they would know when they get some about 1 pm tomorrow is what one guy said and Toys R Us guy today told me probably next week for them and my Circuit City guy said 0 till January for them WalMart is a waste of time untill the 6th and Best Buy and Target as we all know are holding back all they have
Also forgot to add that if you're looking for Wiimotes and nunchuks and stuff of that sort some WalMarts and some other places holding back till later on are stocking what they get acc. wise i actually seen a nunchuk in a store for the first time ever today it was actually the last one left too.
My Walmart has had all 3 types of controllers in stock for the last 2 days. I picked up one of each. I think a lot of people have given up in my area (or are waiting until Sunday). When I would go hunting every morning, I used to see 2 or 3 people at every place also asking for Wiis. Half of the time I never even had to ask myself. Now I rarely see anyone. Maybe this means everyone else already got one. Either way I'll be going to GameStop very early on Friday and if no luck, camping out at BB on Saturday.

Okay, so I talked to the Circuit City manager today. Our Conversation:
Me: Do you have any Wii in stock?
CC: No, not until Sunday.
Me: What does that mean?
CC: It means we will have Wii on Sunday.
Me: Is that a definite?
CC: Yes, it is a definite. It will be in the flier.
Me: How many are you going to have?
CC: (With a smirk on his face) The shipment is supposed to be huge.
I'll be waiting outside my Circuit Sunday morning.

I live in a big area, maybe thats why they are getting a big shipment. They are within 2 miles of a wal-mart, best buy, 2 ebgames, and a toys r us.
my friend clint works at a circuity city in conyers, georgia. he said theyve got some in now and theyll definitely be on sale sunday at opening. he said they wouldnt tell him how many, but that its a LOT.
