I know this question has been posed on other threads, but since ours is so much bigger I thought I would put this out there. Who is going to be camping out this Sunday to get their Wii? Anyone near Ithaca, NY?
I'm bringing two friends to Target at 5AM to wait for the Wii release.
So I had my mom check EBGames around 1:30 while I was at school, and apparently they didn't have any (ironically, they had a huge stack of PS3s). I called after I got home (about 3), and find that they actually did receive a shipment at 2, but it sold out. My mom was a half-hour too early.
I hate my bad luck. D:
the hardest thing about this is knowing where to go this weekend. hmmm. this thread has kept me going for this week, i thought i was the only person who couldnt find one.

Yeah, me too... and my girlfriend, who kept me from getting to EBgames and made me miss getting one by 20 minutes today.

I'm going to be in Buffalo, NY. I think my mom, sister, and nephew are coming with me and we are covering Toys R Us, target, circuit city and best buy..haha..its going to be a fun time
Most Gamestops in my area got a shipment today and sold out immediately. I almost snagged one but was 2 minutes late because I didn't know what side of the mall Gamestop was on.
Ah, well, I didn't want to sleep tomorrow night anyway.
My wife was at the mall and said there's a line at Gamestop for their 2 wii's they're getting in... maybe.
Just writing to confirm the EB games shipment. We went to the mall at 12:15 this afternoon, walked to EB games and got in line. They JUST got six wiis and a few PS3s. Bought one of each!
Keep up the good work, some of us are getting lucky along the way.
Also, managers at two other EBs we tried this morning said that there was nothing on their shipment sheet, but that they don't always list them. They came to the mall in UPS shipment, not FEDEX.
i know someone at UPS and they said that they had a bunch of Nintendo shipments waiting to go out to GS's EBG's. They are being delayed at ups by nintendo they have to wait for the orders to ship them out. Crazy i know but the person i know at ups isnt just a loader shes management.

I waited in line for an hour at the gameastop at the mall
there was a line and i was 3rd person in line for a wii
i was POSITIVE i wold get one because the clerk the night before said, and i quote,"We got an email that said that we should get 3 or more tomarow"
I asked"will they be avalible at opening?"
He says"the should be....i don't now why they wouldn't....."
well that idiot must have been new because EVERYONE in line went home when the maniger came and said"What are you guys doin?"
I must have not been the only person that heard about that email becuse everyone said somthing about the email that there would be wii's at opening.......
he slowly starts to say".......dam it john......(im asuming that was the dude handling the phones)....We got no wiis last night and aren't soposed to get eny untill only god nows when..."
He moves fast into the store and locks it and everyone sweras and went home...
but thats not the end....
i call the same store latter and the same maniger told me that they got a shipment at 1 o-clock and that there was already a line and that they sold out in like a minitue.....
man that makes me mad....

I had my mom call them when they opened this morning, and the guy said they didn't get any. I told her in advance she should call around noon, too, because thats when they get their shipments. She calls them again at noon, and the regional manager picks up. She says that they got them at opening and sold out immediately. This either means that the GameStop employee who my mom talked to this morning was lying, or he didn't check last night's shipment. The only information she got from the regional manager was that they will not have any Wii's for sale until next Thursday, for whatever reason.
Got my Wii at EB in Century City Mall this morning. Got there at 8:30 before they opened at 9, one person in front of me. TOns of ppl came in around 10 to get them, nasty looks
At noon the Wiis came, only 3 of them. Other stores got 2. I also was lucky enough to be around for a second box from UPS (The Wiis were Fedex) and snagged an extra controller.
They said they will be getting Wiis in Fridays all the time consistently now. They got 16!!! PS3s in Thursday, all sold out.
I am about to set mine up, good luck all. EB ppl were so much nicer than Best Buy/Target.

The Wiiseeker just goes by pretty much the same stuff we do on this thread, and if you didnt get one today at an Eb or Gamestop you're probably outta luck untill Sunday and Best Buy or Target unless your Toys R Us pulls in some tomorrow, also if you dont get one sunday and your EB/Gamestop didnt get any the guy at mine said they would probably get some Monday because they were suppose to get some this week and if they didnt he assumed Monday.
All this freakin information about gamestop and eb games is pissing me off.
Can we please focus on BEST BUY for just a second. Can anyone tell me if they know anything about best buy getting them this sunday so i can go camp out???
i called one of my local best buys assuming they would have some on sunday, and he told me they might and if not maybe monday.
he told me the best thing to do is to drive by there saturday night and if there are people lined up then that means sunday, if not, then monday
also my local toys r us is getting them tomorrow but putting them out for sunday morning
