Hmmmm, but that also depends on how close your gamestop/ebgames store is to the Fedex / UPS guy....

Maybe I should just jack one of their trucks en route and mail all the wiis to the members of wiiloaded who don't have one.

No problem...I do have a caouple more tips about GS/EB. Look at Nintendo's Mall promotion of Wii. Stores in that area get more shipments. After the early black friday crowd, ALL of the Gamestops and EBs around here got a surprise shipment of 9-15 Wiis Black Friday afternoon, all the managers were very surprised...I'd just call them everyday around noon.

Also, I went to target this morning around 8:30. The UPS man came and no Wiis.

I asked when to expect shipments...got the usual "I don't know" answer, but also something I hadn't heard before, so take this as UNCONFIRMED: Target does not get Wiis through a distributer. They get Wiis from NINTENDO THEMSELVES. I'm not sure if this is just my target (it was in the mall right in front of where the Wii demos are set up with Nintendo Reps around for the mall promotions), or all Targets. I've never been so happy to work in the mall. I play Wii during every break! I cant wait to own one!

Also, I live in New England. I'll keep you guys updated!

Oh my god Sublime! You are a gold mine of great information. I will PM you with my Wii code when I get one. They are probably selling them today (monday) , because I called saturday and sunday. A surprise shipment? Wow.

Yeah about the whole camping out thing this Sunday at Best Buy..

If I don't camp out and just go really early and don't get it, that will be my fourth time around!

That is why I am going at midnight this Saturday and waiting in line until they hand out tickets at 9:00AM. Trust me it feels horrible not getting your Wii the first time....then the second time.....then the third! So I'm not sure about how crowded your best buy gets, but mine gets crazy packed!

Sams Club has no idea, hubby is a merch manager there. He's calling the buyer today to find out what is going on. They only had 6 on launch day and we weren't allowed to purchase one

I've heard that on the West Coast that Sears is a place that sometimes people have gotten lucky finding the Wii. They seem to get small shipments, but people don't seem to check them often. I've been checking and haven't found one at Sears yet, although others have been having some success!

I dropped by two GameStops in Missouri this morning after their deliveries came in.. no Wii.

I also talked to Toys R Us and the guy said to call around 5 PM or first thing in the morning because they have been getting random small shipments. Those are the times that they should be off the truck and into inventory.

Where are you at in MO? I called around the O'fallon area this morning and none of the stores had anything.

I'm in Springfield going to school and I have my parents in Kansas City looking also.

Any Northern Virginia luck out there? I was unable to get out this Sunday to try and pick one up. I am curious about the line-ups at BBY and Target and the usual suspects.

I'm in DC, myself. I tried on Sunday as well, but I was in Pittsburgh. Naturally the BB had 30 and I was #31! I got to the store at 7:00am!

Hey you guys are all welcome...I've been coming here for a few weeks just lurking around and reading, but since I had some info I decided to sign up to help all my fellow Wii-Seekers/Nintendo supporters out.

Ok, I can confirm that Best Buy get their Wii shipments every Saturday night and they go on the floor Sunday morning. I talked to one of the main Managers and he confirmed this for me.

Also, I went to Target hoping to get lucky. This is what I've been told: Since Wii is first come first serve, they cannot give shipment details over the phone. Thats why we've been hearing so many "I don't knows" over the phone. The man at Target told me this...he was not a manager, just a guy at the electronics section so take this is SPECULATION. Nintendo shipped it's next shipment to Target yesterday. They should come in any day this week. My local Target stocks its shelves between 10 am and noon. So GO IN and ask in person about when shelves get stocked at your local Target and GO EVERYDAY THIS WEEK. Hopefully most of us can get one without having to resort to camping out at best buy. Why can't consoles get released in the summer...nice warm camping weather...That's all I got for now. Happy Hunting guys!

I think we should combine all the other threads about shipment info into this one and just make it the official one. Because I had one about the second shipment, and I know there are others. I put this in the Website Discussion forum as well so hopefully something gets done. That way everyone can find the information they need. Who's with me?

EB/GS Get Shipments everyday from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

I've called 4 different stores and ALL of them say they get shipments daily during this time. But it could just be my area.

I know the Fair Lakes BBY had 102 on launch day, I was like 10 people short (I never expected the demand! and was lazy about getting out there). It is one of the busier stores in the area. That is where I will be the morning of 12/3. This time I plan to be in line much earlier.

No eb games or gamestop. Today was a no go.....Anyone got any information about tomorrow? I'm hoping for a Target / Eb Games tomorrow or wednesday.

I had a very interesting talk with one ebgames employee.

"We don't have any yet. But definitely call back later today ." I'm guessing they were expecting a shipment today but got nothing.

It was so annoying, my dad was there when the UPS guy arrived (approx 1:30) and no Wii for mii. At about 2:30 a Gamestop employee told me that they were not receiving any today, contrary to the usual "I don't know" They know more (or at least higher management does) than they tell us.

My call to the store in the morning however was received as early as 8:50, a full hour and ten minutes before the store opens.

One new thing,
My local New York Target stocks overnight, before they open at 8. I'm making a trip over to target soon and will post any new information.
