I've had two bad experieces with trying to get a Wii at Wal-mart. The first was on launch day. The second was last night. I called the closest 24-hour Wal-mart (about 25 miles away) and was told that the Wii would be available at midnight. When I got there I knew something was wrong since there was no line. A sign in the electronics dept stated that the Wii would not be available until 8 am. 
I called one of the Walmarts in my area and they told me midnight the another Walmart said 8am Wednesday. I thought I would go from one to the other if I didn't get one at the first Walmart. I get to the one for the midnight launch no line and no one seemed to know anything about the Wii. I called the Walmart that told me 8am Wednesday and they inform me that sold them all on Tuesday. I would quit calling if they would quit lying.

Hmmmmm. Maybe I should call them a few times everyday just to annoy them.

Mine are on there way, I happend to Check CC online and they had them and Nunchucks avalible for online purchase so I bought both.
I posted a new thread as soon as I knew they were avail. with time and date....
THere are a bunch of 3rd party ones already on Ebay, which you can seem to get cheaper then the Nintendo ones...but I can't vouch for the quality.
BTW - I just checked CC still has them avil online....go get um
