BEST BUY WII REPORT, GOOD NEWS!!!
It seems as though all Best Buys are expecting the wii to arrive on the 14th, but probably to hold till the next sunday(12/17) as mjlepak stated.

The '+' means that there were two separate shipments scheduled on that day.

I know someone has already mentioned this, but i am just confirming that Target says it will be selling Wii's on the 17th.

So i suppose i will have to decide if i rather try for Target or BB.

Standing in the cold for 5 hours is better then paying ebay prices.. i suppose =P

Just going to say, if you ask me to check on a store for you, check back sunday for my reply.

Also, I've never thanked you guys for posting the helpful info, as it helped me find my Wii at walmart on Wednesday morning. However, I must wait until christmas to play as it is a gift from my parents (aagh!), so since I have nothing to do until then, I will continue to assist others in finding their own.

I've been reading this thread for a long time, but I'm mainly posting this for a marker. It's nearly impossible to keep track, so I'm just going to look for my name so I know where I left off! Now the fight to get a Wii continues!

So, I went to Circuit City tonight on a whim, knowing they probably wouldn't have Wiis or controllers but to ask if they knew when they could possibly get them in. I walked to the video games section, though, and lo and behold, on the wall were about a dozen wiimotes, several nunchuks, and two classic controllers (still no Wii, of course)! I haven't been that happy in awhile. I picked up both classic controllers and a nunchuk (already picked up an extra wiimote from Gamestop). I asked how they had all of the controllers in stock, and the guy said they had just gotten them in tonight. I asked if he knew when they would be getting wiis and he said there was a good chance they'd get them Saturday and sell them Sunday because they usually get them when they get the controllers in. Now, he was just a sales associate, not a manager, but he said to call back tomorrow afternoon to see if they'd gotten them in. I'll let everyone know if Circuit City will be selling them Sunday by tomorrow night. Obviously, I won't know numbers for every store, but if one gets them, it's likely most will get them. Til then, I'll be staring at all of my controllers and Zelda and wondering what has possessed me to buy all of these silly controllers before I even have a system...

On a side note, I thought about buying up some of the wiimotes and selling them on eBay, but I felt guilty after hearing everyone on this site's struggles to find them, so I left with only the ones I'm keeping. I feel much better about myself now...

Any info on a BB in Burlington Ontario? No store number is known...

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that a few days ago I went to Toys R Us on my Wiisearch and they had a 60 GB and several 20 GB PS3s. I bought the 60GB and stuck it on eBay, and if it doesn't sell, I'll just return it. Not nearly as cool as the Wii, and far more than my budget will allow...of course, TRU had no Wiis...

WHATS UP WITH THIS????? I just called the gamecrazy where i have my wii reserved and they said when it comes in I will also have to buy 5 other accesories for it or they wont sell it to me! They said this is something all the stores are doing. Is this true or are they just trying to get me to buy more of their stuff? I need to know what I should do, I think I'll have the money but im kinda worried.

That shouldn't be true...although, NOWHERE around here is allowing pre-orders to happen...sooo...

Looking like this Sunday is going to be a little dry and it might be that way untill the 17th atleast thats just what its sounding like that most places are waiting till then but i would keep checking i havent really heard anything about Target so they could still be a chance Sunday

I hear Target is going to have them tomorrow...from the ps3seeker website on the wii. I am sending some people to check the Target for me tomorrow....This is in Kansas City though...don't know about other places.

I have a contact at Best Buy that told me that the will have at least 25 Wi''s on the 17th. He says that his store in particular in North Carolina is waiting on the accessories so they can sell the wiimotes at the same time.
I dont get it, they are going to sell out sooner or later, why not make the money now??? I will probably try to get lined up early that AM to try and snag one for myself.

As of Friday, no wiimotes or nunchuks were in shipped status to any best buys.
