I'll probably have my mom go to one store while I go to another one and use cell phones to communicate... any other recommendations for stores?

I've had three parties since picking up my wii. Everyone who has played wants one. Just have to laugh the sony exec who says wii is a novelty. If I had the time I would be developing my own games.

I'll list the ones supposed to be selling them on Sunday: BB, CC, TRU, GS, EB, Target, Meijers (wild guess, not any in Texas). I think CC is over looked ALOT, at least from the PS3 launch in Houston, they didnt have campers until about noon the day before, as apposed to BB who had them 3 days before.

I too am in the metro west. probably going to hit up target this sunday in worcester!

CCs generally get smaller allocations of consoles in the launch window.

I was in panic mode like I am now for a Wii last year but for the 360. I was so focused on BB, BB, BB, and other stores like Target that I overlooked BB's competition, CC. So I'm just speaking from what I experiences last year. Besides, small allocations for a Wii is still about 15-20 and thats quite a bit.

Did I miss Amazon getting Wiis in stock today?

Last night I stopped by my local target in decatur illinois, they have 5 wiimotes and 5 numchucks. No wii's I was told they have 25 they will sell on sunday but wouldn't say how just be there early.

Does anyone know anything about Wii-supplies here in Sweden? All the online retailers state early January as their next delivery date... Not all that impressive.

The Best Buy close to my house (Burlington, ON, Canada) sold them all last night. I was at work and figured "there were only 12 people at 10PM last time...I work till 8...I'll be good!"

I haven't been more wrong.

I get to work all focussed on getting out at 8 and driving to Burlington to grab a wii, when I notice a voice message on my phone...

It's my mom tellnig me, after driving past BB at 5:30...there was already 12 people waiting...

She called my friend who was SUPPOSE to go and grab our spots, but he refused to go because he "didn't want to wait as long."

So I RACE there as fast as I can...only to find about 25-30 people waiting in line at 8:30...

They only had 21 Wii's...

So...as this is a great disappointment for me, I'm wondering if ANYBODY know's if BB in Canada is selling next friday or if anybody know's about Walmart or Zellers or anything else! Please...

On "The Feed" on G4 they mentioned the stores stocking up on Wiis for sunday. If the info is getting out there (to the general public) early, I expect things to be ugly this weekend with Christmas approaching fast.

With the amount of people that now know about the shipments, I am assuming even midnight isn't going to be early enough. I will still give it a go, but i am pretty sure that I will be wii less until sometimes in jan.

Yeah, it looks like this is kind of going to suck.  I was thinking this might stay on the down low and I wouldn't have to head out until about midnight or so (after my wife goes to bed).  Now, I'm probably going to go and check out Best Buy about 6 or before to see if there is a line and if so, that's where I'll be the rest of the night I suppose.

Has anyone had any luck with getting local stores (BB, CC, Target) to tell them how many Wiis they plan to have in stock for Sunday?  It seems like no one around here wants to let the information out (to the point of denying a shipment altogether).

Last Sunday i think most Targets had atleast 20 atleast that what i gathered from people on here mine had 27, and i think most places have been consistent on their number of consoles each week.

The only info i have been able to gather from my target and CC.. Target says they THINK they will have 20 or more. CC says they have 10+. Not very helpful if you ask me.

I wish i had the option of getting to one of the stores for around 6-7pm, but it just sin't possible. So i will show up and if target has > 20 people ill check CC if they have more then 10 ill head home a wii less man (Pun WAS intended)

I am going to bug my friend and father (who both want one also) to come with me at 11-12 saturday night. But thats the best i can do.

BB, CC, TRU, Target, and GS all confirmed shipments. BB said they had 32, TRU said they couldnt say but the same one got 120 at launch when I went, GS said about 8. Target and CC said they had no idea, just to get there early. I'm in Houston btw.

Yeah, I just got a chance to call BB and Target. Both said they would have them on Sunday but neither would give me any more information than that. If anyone knows about the numbers in Wichita let me know.

Yea, I had the same with the 360. I ended up finding it in stock on Amazon and it went out soon after. What is good is that many people disregard CC unless they advertise it, so they do look good in that respect.


Anyway, just my two cents, Dec 3, when I got my wii, my target had 54 in stock.

I live up in the Bangor, Maine area and I'm trying to figure out if they're getting any on the 17. But they won't tell me a thing
