didnt get one this morning, looking for one soon tho.... need sum help for wen the nxt shipment comes out
Im assuming you're in the US if so then the next shipment it appears wont be untill January with the next 2 Sundays being holidays, Christmas Eve and New Years so from what i've heard it wont be untill January now.
Yea i doubt there will be any until january 1st. Just keep checking the weekly ads for BB,CC, TRU and walmart. If they have it in the ad that sunday there will probably be some there!
I went to bestbuy in Boston at around 1am. I was 19th in line at that time. The first people got there at 10pm the previous night. They told us at about 6am that they were getting 21 Wii's (which is what this thread had said) and then gave out tickets at 7:30.
By then there were about 70+ people in line. It was one freaking cold night but i have my Wii now!!!
the next decent shipment at all major retailers is supposed to be on dec. 24th. if anybody has some shipment info on when Wii's are supposed to get to futureshop let me know. most of the stores on this thread are american stores. (im in canada)
I also was able to score a wii, as well as my buddy.
We got to target at around 11pm and they had already done vouchers, so we tried CC same deal. So we check walmart.. no wii... we were desperate so we went to a small GS. No one was there! So we started to seyup shop but a security guard told us not until it was light out!
So we had to sit in the car and make a mad dash for the door come sun up, so my buddy and i made a deal with these other 3 cool guys that got there second. And if any one of us got there first we would let the others in front. It worked thank god! I was first to grab one. Felt bad for all the kids and grandmas that wouldn't believe it when we said there was only 6.
I am so relieved lol.

Sorry I have to vent, but I've read your stories and it is UTTER TRASH when a store can't tell you how many they will be getting in their shipments. Most stores have inventory systems which can check what will be coming in even weeks in advance, but most are too lazy to check
! As you may have picked up from my BBY reports, Best Buy I know for sure can check on the
exact qty., and I highly doubt that an empire such as wal-mart would be lacking a comprable digital inventory system. I already found a wii but still... I expected alot more to be satisfied today.

I grabbed a wiimote, classic and nunchuck along with my system, i decided may as well =P
Thank you everyone for all the information on this board. I was able to score not only one but two Wii's today. Went to CC was 8th in line they were only getting six so we began scouting other destinations. BB were getting 18 they already had 25 people in line at close the day before. Dropped my hubby off at TRU he was 18th in line. The manager came out and id'd everyone as they would only allow one per household he ended up 13th in line and they passed out 15 tickets. I went to EB games and was 4th in line they got six. He forgot his phone so I had no way of knowing he had one or vice versa.
PS - for those who didn't get one the manager at TRU told some people to check back everyday this week because they expected to get more. As a matter of fact my hubby said a car drove up after tickets were handed out and the manager let someone in with a box and then they came out and handed out 3 more vouchers. GL to the so far unlucky.
i just want 1 why the f*** do you need to get 2 or more. save some for people who just want 1!
The Best Buy here had 24, but when my friend and I got there at 2:00 AM we were 25. Ended up going to Circuit City, where circulars said 20 minimum, although employees said there were at 12 systems. I arrived there as number 12. However, 5 hours in the cold later, it was announced that 4 of the wii were put aside for those that bought defective wii last month. Therefore, only 8 were sold, and I went home to sleep. Even a lady who was there since 10:30 pm couldn't get one when they were number 10.
I figure it wasn't all bad, in that I got a great view of the sunrise, and I considered it like a course in "how to live like you are homeless."
What suprised me is that I later found out that Toys R Us here had 69 wii, which was way more than Best Buy received. I avoided that place because I was expecting there to be a riot, but I heard the 69th person got in line at 4 am. However, I also heard that the 30+ people that were out of luck weren't happy and some ticket receivers auctioned their spots off for as much as $144!
Does this leave Xmas eve as the last weekend for a wii?
I want to thank the people who started this thread it was very helpful.......I went to a local Target at 2:15am and was 9 in line the rumor was they had 15......At 6am a car pulled up an the wife and mother in law of the guy who was number 2 got in line with him....They weren't there all night and the people who where number 14 and 15 in line before they arrived were screwed......I was suprised that more people didn't speak up.....Anyway there ended up that there were at least 80 people in line...someone spread a rumor that they had 81 Wii's.....It got ugly when they came out at 7:50am to had out vouchers and there were only 15.....The good news is I was able to get one....The bad news is the other people didn't and the people that were 14 and 15 should have been more vocal when those two arrive.........The was in OT, NJ..... BTW we told everyone that asked that the rumor was 15 units....people just didin't believe us...
I'm still wiiless, but thanks for all the great information here. My wife and I hit Target first and they hand15 and there were already 30 in line so we went CC where she stayed they only had 6 and she was 15. I went to TRU and they had 23 I was 25. But then later in the day we went to an unknown store that is just local to central Illinois SHOPKO, and they said they got 13 in last thrusday. I didn't even think about them having them. So this week I'm going to check them and TRU every day in hopes my Wii will still be under the Christmas tree on Christmas morn. Just saw this guys from QJ net as the source. Toys R Us will get a lot more Wiis according to them on the 22nd of December. Here's a chance for some of you guys to get one that haven't gotten one yet.

any word on the huge shipment affecting canadian wii supplies? oh, and thanks to everyone who has offered any information. i'm still wii-less, but feeling a little more hopeful (even after an utter dissapointment at best buy 27 in line for 13 units

After TRU releases it's stockpile of bundles, there will be no more shipments on the Wii until mid January, according to most of my data.
I sincerely wish the best of luck to everyone still in the hunt to get one before Christmas. We will keep you updated with every last bit of info running through Christmas eve if we get the data.

I will run this thread until you can walk in and pick up a Wii, however, with the absense of people, my info pool may run lower.

Not that I know of, it's most likely just the 22nd at TRU only.
