So good news!
Just checked my order status and it says "processing."
So I assume that means that my Wii should ship today as planned, and it will be hooked up when it comes tomorrow overnighted
So what does that mean for you? Maybe Gamestop DID get their shipment as advertised....I would start calling your local stores.
Thanks, everyone! I think I've decided to do the same as some of the people above and go to TRU at 7 Friday am and check it out. I live in a fairly rural college town and all the college kids are back home, so I think I might have a shot. I'm also going to call Gamestop again today.

I definitely think you might need to camp out this time.My husband and I got one last Sunday Thanks to this thread. So my seven year old might believe in Santa another year.He got to the Toys R Us at midnight hung out in his car until 4.30 am, another lady was next to him in her car.They both got out when a college student drove up and got out. They got in line about 5ish. This is when the line started getting longer unfortunately anyone there after six was basically screwed .(I do live in a big city though Chicago)32 Wiis and 60 people in line at 7.45 when they started handing out vouchers. My husband did not have to buy the bundle.
I have heard rumbilngs though that Toys R Us might be expecting these systems anytime this week and will sell them as soon as they get them maybe only 9 per store.So if I was still searching I would go every day Like I did in previous weeks keep asking someone might crack and actually let you know. Everyone played dumb on the phone before the 17th sale.
If you do camp out take a chair one you might not care if it gets lost, some granola bars or other snack something to drink and a blanket.

I just called every Gamestop and EB Games in my area (6 total) and they said they did not have any today. Just FYI...
You're a lucky one, jovigirl33! I would wait in line, but I have to work on Friday and I have a baby to take to daycare before I go to work. I think someone would call the cops on me if I stood in the cold with my 1 year old for hours! (LOL) Since I'm trying to get the system for both my husband and my son, I can't ask my husband to help in this endevor. I'm going to have to let the Wii Gods decide my family's fate early tomorrow morning...
I already made plans to go early tommorow, I just hope that they sell them tommorow even though the press release doesnt say that will happen.
i've been getting calls from this all night, and all of our communications from our District Manager say that when we get some in (which can be ANY time before friday) We sell them immediately. It will be a small number (my store is only listed to get 9 in). We were told Secure them and sell them once they arrive. So don't bother camping out, because they could come thursday afternoon, you'll just have to be lucky. We're also expecting to get some PS3s as well.

I went just to talk to someone face to face about whether I should come tomorrow morning to get one, and they were bringing them out two at a time when someone asked about them. I have no idea how many they had total, but I watched five people buy one before me and they told me I got the last one. It was not bundled. I'm so shocked I can barely talk right now. I just called my local TRU and the lady said if they get some it will be on the next truck and that it arrives usually in the evening time. She said that they do not tell her if Wii's will be on this truck or not. She said they stock their shelves during the night I guess. She recommended me checking this evening just to make sure they don't put them out tonight and then to check in the morning. So in the meantime I am going to try and get some sleep and be prepared to doing a little camping tonight. Have to go to extremes if I want to get one before Christmas. I wish everyone good luck on tomorrow's venture.

Just called my local TRU and she said they have a few Wii's in right now. So maybe there's a chance for those of you who don't have one.
i called my TRU, unfortunately they don't have any at the moment. but the guy was nice enough to tell me that if they do get a shipment, they'll have it for tomorrow morning. i'll just stop by tonight after work and check it out. perhaps in the morning too.
One local TRU by me said they got them in this morning, and then he apologized.
The other one said they are expecting a shipment this weekend, so i'm camping tommorow.
any leads on best buy shipment?
Just FYI - Walmart, Gamestop and EB Games all have Wiis for sale online right now, but I don't think they're available for express shipping. I spent a lot of time calling Gamestops in my area this week, and something tells me that they might have them this weekend too.

Gamestop DOES have express shipping. It was like 5.99 for 2-3 day and 9.99 for overnight.
Just checked and Gamestop says my Wii has been SHIPPED!!!!! I can't beleive it. It's like being face to face with a ghost.
