I called all over today trying to get a wiimote and nunchuck. Could not find it anywhere. But out of all places I for sure thought would be out Walmart had them. Went there to pick up something else and thought just for the heck of it I will check and sure enough it was there.

I think there is still some hope for you all out there still trying to get a Wii. In my area which is the stl metropolitian area, I think Target, Kmart, and possibly Circuit City still might get some more in. Walmart and Best Buy said for sure they weren't planning on any until after Christmas. And I would imagine TRU is not getting anymore since they just released some yesterday afternoon and yet again this morning. Good luck.

my circuit city had none today, if they don't have them tommorow, i will get them on sunday. I really hope to get one soon, I have been through hell and am fed up with stores clerks lying through their teeth at me...

i just want to get a wii and play it and be happy for the holidays...

is that too much to ask?

Sad to say, but I think lucks out before Christmas. I'll be doin the BB shipment next Friday.

i know it's sad, but i honestly believe that if the ones down south have got wiis in... the CCs up north(northern Illinois) will be getting them in the next couple of days, cause their last shipment was on the 17th...

it's a stretch i know, but i would feel like i was cheating myself if i didn't try!

Finally, after all this waiting, im getting my Wii!!!!
I saw an ad on a message board for someone wanting to sell an extra wii they had. They had won the Amazon auction, but ended up getting one in a line too! So instead of putting it on ebay, they decided to sell it for $300 to someone in the area!!!

im happy that at least a few people are not giving in to greed and deciding to share the luck with others

Nope, I was 4 minuits late. I went again today, and they didn't get any. But I picked up a nunchuck cause I know how hard it is to find those things.

Anyone who strikes out, it looks like you will need to wait until mid January. (a lot of my info points to Jan. 19)

I know this should go on the "Come here to gloat" thread, but I've been on this thread alot the past few weeks trying to find a Wii, and I just wanted to let everyone know that I GOT ONE!!!! I called Toys R Us Thursday night before close and asked to speak to a manager because I had gotten nothing out of the R Zone people (weren't allowed to tell), and just asked if it would be worth my time to get there early Friday for a Wii, and he said it would. So I planned on going at around 5:30, but set my alarm wrong and actually didn't get out there til 7:15. Amazingly, I was 7th in line, and got bumped to 6th after one lady left. And at 8, they came and handed out tickets for Wiis. They got 10, I was 6, Badabingbadaboom.

Thank you to everyone on this thread that helped me out through this process, following leads, etc. In particular, thanks to Piraatbill for the specific Best Buy info twice.

And to those w/o a Wii, there's hope. You'll get one, so keep trying.

so if best buy is getting them on the 29th does that mean they will have them in the morning or do i have to wait until the aftrnoon. cause im ready to camp out for it.Or i r they going to hold them until sunday.

Try on the 29th (or 31st, not sure how that will play out, mabye I'll get that info today) @ Best Buy for next post christmas shipment.

I went to one Toys R Us and called another one the night before the "confirmed shipment" explained the situation and the guys all said that they doubt they are getting any in and that I would just be wasting my time waiting overnight.

Yeah, I'm on the hunt for a Wii... I need some major help. (in CT)

Once more, these are the quantities of Wiis coming into their respective Best Buy stores on Friday 12/29, I can't find out yet if they will be held till Sunday though.
