Where do you guys get your info from? I haven't gotten anything other than an "I don't know" from everyone I talk to.

i've been following this thread since a week ago, and so far the info here has been pretty good, although a lot of it tends to not apply to me. We don't have any circuit city stores very close, everyone tends to sell their stock as they get it, and the store clerks never have any idea when they'll get more.
i camped for 4 hours on last sunday for a Wii at one of the Toledo, OH locations, and did not end up getting one. i was going to camp and wait for them on friday, but i found out from the stores on thursday that they had got them that day, and were NOT in fact instructed to hold them until friday (so they say).
everywhere else around has been sold out constantly, and i seem to keep missing the shipments barely. one day i called a local game store, and they had recieved them in 10 minutes before i called, but were gone when i did call. My next attempt at getting one will be Friday/Sunday at Best Buy, since it seems i'll have the best chance there... at least they actually tell you how many they'll have throughout the night, unlike the Target i went to.
I havent been trying to get one by x-mas specifically, but it is kinda like a gift to myself. by the way, to those who sold theirs to someone else after getting multiples, i applaud you! that's a VERY nice gesture, as opposed to selling it on ebay.

I found some info on Target and Wal-Mart. Apparently, they'll be some Wii's in Dec 31st. The numbers vary, although the stores nearest to me will be getting 5+. Not much, but it makes it sound valid.

yeah, according to http://www.ps3seeker.com/wii/index.php? (which was posted in the thread earlier) the local walmarts and targets will get 5+ wiis each, and best buys will get 10+ each... Circuit City and TRU are unknown. unfortunately, Meijer (a somewhat regional chain) gets them, but doesnt advertise that they have them. yet somehow, people buy them within 15 mins of them coming onto the floor there.

SO are you sure that Bestbuy is getting em on the 29.Did you call them...Cause I dont wanna go wa=nd wait fo no reason.anyways Im assuming that Bestbuys across the Country would get em right?Sorry if I sound mean I am just so wanting to get my Wii

When does Walmart sell them? The same day they receive them..? Because I'm going to camp.. lol

Walmart sells them the same day they come in. Your best bet would be to find out when UPS comes to your walmart and go to walmart every day at that time and see if there are any wii.

What day will best buy put the wii on sale. Morning of the 29th or 31st?

so will bb get the wii on thursday and sell it friday morning or will they get it friday and hold it till sunday. I just need to know so I know when to camp out for it.

our walmart is constantly lying to us saying they won't have any Wiis for about a month... someone needs to change a policy somewhere there...

yea im trying to get mine at wal mart seeing as my mom works there but she doesnt know when they come in but im trying to get her to hold one for me till i can get down there when they come in

Well..I got a Wii. I went into GS today at around 10 am to return something and asked about a Wii to the manager. He said "We never got our shipment last week because it was delayed, so come back at like noon when we get our shipments in." So I did and there were about 3 people just waiting.

I doubted whether I got one but I went up to the manager and said, "Hey, did you get your shipments in?" He looked stressed and said one sec, then went outside to make a phone call. I propped myself against the glass holding place and he came back in. He tapped me on the shoulder, "I got 2 in, you're good."

He had saved one of the two for me because I had came early and the other for another guy that came earlier.

But he did say they were expecting more shipments this week so go check em out

I know that ALL GS will get a shipment this week, they get one every week. Find out when your store shipments come in and go there everyday.

i just called my local ebgames at around 3:30, and they had one wii left, but by the time i got there, they had sold it... i seem to miss the F***ing things by a very little bit EVERY TIME, and it's starting to get more aggrivating than ever.

Any word on when Best Buy will put their shipment on sale. I think thats the best shot for any of us.

I live in California, and well, i called 2 of the EB games by my house, 1 said they don't know when shipments come in, and to call back thursday, the other one said they get them in on wednesday(tomorrow) and start handing them out between 11am and 12pm. The BB by my house said they dont know, neither does the target, or TRU, and my wal-mart actually laughed at me for asking and said no they don't know. Sources say BB, Walmart, and Target get their shipments in on sunday, if you are going to try them, i suggest you get up at 5. I went 2 sundays ago because my friend works there and said they get a shipment in then, i got there at like 6:45, stood in line, and this old guy was all like "you know they already handed out tickets right?" i asked him when, and he said " around 6:30" i was SO mad. So get there early! Also, call you're EB games and ask, or just get there early tomorrow morning. IM GETTIN ME A WII!

I'm really hoping I can get one at Best Buy this weekend. I have $350 in gift cards to BB for the sole purpose of buying a Wii. Friday I have to work (but could maybe get out of it) and if they have them on Sunday I will get there at 5am if need be to get one and just be done with this whole thing! Any word on how many BB's will get? Probably 20-25 I'm sure.

thats the thing we dont know if bb is holding their shipment til sunday, I talked toone of the guys at bb a he kinda hinted that they were going to sell them on sunday.

I'm stuck with Walmart because of the wii gift card... So you guys are saying that Walmart is a Sunday shipment possibly??

Yeah the BB person I spoke to today would not give me a firm answer but said we will have some for sell before the end of the year...totally not helpful at all. He told me to check back on Thursday. I really feel like a dork if I take off part of Friday to get a Wii, but I want it soooooo bad! I wish there was a BB down the street from my work, that would solve a lot of problems. Mainly, after I get my Wii I would still have to commute 45 mins to work, and since Friday is a half day I doubt my boss I will go for it...Fudge Please be SUNDAY!
