well, AFAIK, BB holds them if they're for an ad, but doesn't if they're just to be sold. my friend works there, so i'll ask him, then post here and let you all know what the deal is (if he even knows, he's kind of a schmuck).

I called 2 EB games near my house today, one said he doesn't know and to call back thursday, the other said they get their shipment in tomorrow, and will start handing them out between 11am-12pm. (California)
my eb games just keep giving the same bs everyday, we dont know when we are getting are next shipment. yeah they know they just wont tell us an its pissing me off

our local EB and GameStop both give the same BS excuses all the time... i even called EB early today and they said "we dunno when we'll get em" but i called later, and they happened to have 1. i missed it by about 10 mins b/c of the long drive there. my Best Bet is Best Buy this weekend, methinks.

to be fair, most best buy employees don't actually know when they'll get shipments of wiis or ps3s, even though they do work there. my friend doesnt usually know til at LEAST the day before, or the day they come in. it's not their fault that the distributors or even their bosses don't tell them til the last minute.
Best Buy had always have them on Sunday, not Friday. So I bet it won't be any different this week.

Wow, thanks for the BB info... maybe I'll get my wii Friday, if I can get there. Another thing; I talked to the assistant manager of Wal-Mart and he said all he had heard was after Christmas and before the thirty-first. If you can put up with it, you can try going to Wal-Mart everyday...
